Lina was born in Queens, NY and moved to sunny Florida at a very young age. She has been in the dental field for over 12 years and truly enjoys interacting with our patients. When she is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children.
Suzi has been living in South Florida 31 years; She loves interacting with our patients and knows how to make them feel at ease. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Also, enjoys running when she has a chance.
Andres was born in Cali, Colombia, and has been in the dental field over 11 years. He loves providing comfort and quality dental care to our patients. Being a dentist from his country, has allowed him the ability to use his skills and talent in everyday practice. In his spare time he likes to play soccer and spend time with his family.
Belkis was born in Havana, Cuba and came to the USA over 13 years ago. She is very comforting to our patients during their treatment and she enjoys working side by side with our Doctors as our Clinical Assistant. During her spare time she likes to read the Bible and spend time with her family.
Karina graduated from New Jersey University of Medicine and Dentistry, and has been practicing Dental Hygiene since 2002. She moved to Florida with her family in 2012. Karina enjoys helping our patients learn how to improve their Oral Health and understand the impact of Oral Health on their overall Health. In her spare time she takes pleasure in walking and spending time with her family.
Mariana was born in Brazil and moved to Florida when she was 17 years old with a suitcase and a dream. Growing up she always wanted to be in the dental field. She is very passionate about her profession, and in helping others achieve optimal dental care. When not treating patients, she enjoys spending time with her husbandand their two boys, Jacob and Nicolas.
Maya and Tarek met in dental school at Nova Southeastern University and started a friendship that blossomed into romance. They got married in 2006 right before their senior year at dental school, and have been working together ever since. They have three beautiful children, Talal Michael, Amanie May, and Noah William. In their spare time they enjoy Traveling, Concerts, Movies, and hanging out with the kids and barbecuing at the house with the entire family.
Dr. Tarek Assi received his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree in 1997. He then moved to Florida and finished his post-graduate residency in advanced dentistry in 2004 at Nova Southeastern University. During his residency he had extensive training in Wisdom Teeth Extraction, Oral and Conscious Sedation, OralImplantology, as well as, providing dental care to medically compromised patients and patients with special needs. In 2007 He received his D.M.D. (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from Nova Southeastern University.
Being in private practice, Dr. Assi continued his passion for education and did a Fellowship in Oral Implantology in 2010. Then in 2011 he earned aMastership in Surgical Implant placement and bone managementfrom The (American Dental Implant Association).
In thebeginningof 2015 Dr. Assi joined the Misch Implant Institute to enhance his implant skills and learn from theworldrenowned leader in implant dentistry, Dr. Carl E. Misch. Upon graduating from the Surgical program and successfully completing all requirements, Dr. Assi became Fellow at the Misch Surgical Implant program. Then In 2016 Dr. Assi graduated from the Prosthetic program, which qualified him to hold dual certificatein Implant Dentistry: Surgical and Prosthetic.
In 2016 Dr. Assi earned Diplomate status within the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). This awarding Diplomate status is the highest honor a professional society such as the ICOI can bestow on a dental professional involved in implantology.
In 2019 Dr. Assi became Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantologywhich qualifies him as a leader in the field of implant dentistry nationwide and as one of very few dentists trained and skilled in both Implant Surgery and Prosthesis.
Dr. Maya Georges Assi graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2007 obtaining her DMD degree. She has been around and loved dentistry ever since she was a young child. Having her mother as a dentist and role model, she had a chance from a very early age to be exposed to the dental field and grew up to love and appreciate the field she eventually pursued. In addition to English she speaks French, Arabic, Creole, and Spanish fluently. Realizing her life long dream of having her own practice, her focus is on making sure that patients feel comfortable and understand fully why and how a treatment will be rendered. She is gentle and experienced especially in the area of DSD (Digital Smile Design) Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. T. Cem Sayin is a board certified Endodontist. He received his D.D.S.and Ph.D. degrees from Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey (2000, 2007).After moving to Florida, Dr. Sayin received his specialty degree inEndodontics at Nova Southeastern University (2013). He was a full timefaculty (2007-2019) and the former Chairman of Department of Endodontics atNSU (2016-2019). Dr. Sayin is an internationally recognized lecturer; he isthe author of numerous scientific papers published in peer-reviewedjournals. His major areas of scientific research interest includes differentirrigation regimes and techniques, the performance of nickel-titaniumendodontic instruments and three dimensional obturation of the root canalspace. Dr. Sayin previously served at American Association of EndodonticsResearch and Scientific Affairs Committee. He was the first recipient of theDr. Kenneth Neal Namerow Endowed Professorship in Endodontics at the Collegeof Dental Medicine at NSU. His professional affiliations include theAmerican Association of Endodontists and American Board of Endodontics.
