My favorite thing about being a dentist is developing lasting relationships with my patients. I listen to each persons smile goals balancing health, beauty, and function. Empowering patients to reach their goals and bring out their confidence is incredibly rewarding. Being a dentist allows me to combine medical knowledge, technical skill, artistry, and compassion each day. Each person that comes in is unique and deserves to be treated with the utmost care.
I grew up right here in Bend and am proud to serve the community I love so very much with the education I have received. I did my undergraduate work at Corban College in Salem where I was an All-American scholar-athlete for volleyball. Next, I attended Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health where I earned my certificate in public health and Doctorate in Dental Medicine. I next completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency through Lutheran Medical. This unique residency was the turning point in my career because I received training that most dentists do not get in dental school alone. In my residency I gained knowledge and practice that allows me, today, to do specialty procedures as a general dentist.
Since graduating from dental school in 2011 I have taken countless hours of continuing education each year. I am competent and confident in treating patients with special needs, patients with complex medical conditions, and complex dental needs. I belong to the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, the Central Oregon Dental Society, the Central Oregon Peer Review Committee, and Invisalign. I am also trained in sedation dentistry.
I have a wonderfully patient and kindhearted husband named Matt. His background is in marketing, and he owns his own business called Central Oregon Marketing. Together we have two sweet little boys who are the light of our lives!
Outside the office, I am active in the community I love. I have coached volleyball at one of our local middle schools, and I volunteer to teach good early habits to even the littlest of patients. And volunteer at the teen youth challenge, where we discuss the devastating effects of poor life choices and oral health. Matt and I are also active members of our church. Together we enjoy playing volleyball, hiking, boating, and just about anything as long as it is as a family.

My hubby scheduled a new patient appointment with Apenglow last week for December. He woke up today with severe tooth pain and called the pro staff at AG and they insisted he come in right then and there. We went in as directed and they assessed his condition and we left with the assurance we are definitely with the perfect dental group. Thanks Apenglow staff for everything!!

I've been to several dentists in Bend over the years, and Alpenglow is by far my favorite. Dr. Hallie is incredibly kind and good at what she does. She even worked with me to be able to afford care out of pocket. Anna (Ana?) did my cleaning this time and she was amazing, but all the technicians I've encountered there are fantastic. I've recommended Alpenglow to friends, and they always come back raving and thanking me for the suggestion. Gentle, sweet, accommodating, attentive, clean, and top notch professionals. What more could you ask for in a dentist?

Finding a new dental care provider has always been stressful; often I have to visit several before I find a provider that meets my high expectations. The staff at Alpenglow Dental, from front desk, hygienist, up to the dentist more than exceeded my hopes AND my standards. As a new patient, the transition was seamless between my former dental office, the dental cleaning was gentle (I have sensitive areas) and the exam was thorough. In scheduling an appointment for my special needs daughter, they went out of their way to schedule the same hygienist I had for her, so we have continuity among family members. The membership plan is SUCH a godsend for my daughter, as her current coverage doesn't meet her complicated dental needs. I have other family members new to the area, and I can't wait to refer them to Alpenglow Dental!

Alpenglow Dental has been the kindest and thorough dental office I have ever been to. Dr. Hallie is very sweet and great at what she does! My hygienist, other than one other visit, has been Ana and she is AMAZING. She has such a warm presence and educates you as her patient very well. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone.

I picked Alpenglow Dental because of all the great reviews. I needed to switch from my long-term dentist because insurance changed. After my initial appointment at Alpenglow, I see why they have all those great reviews!

Excellent service, very friendly staff. They offered free service to veterans, (US Navy) this year. I got a full Exam, xrays, cleaning then came back for them to fi a tooth and replace a crown. I had been looking for a new dentist, just didn't know where to go. Now I do and will continue with the. Thank you Bend, Or Alpenglow.
