Dr. Prem Kumar, provides compassionate, state-of-the-art care for patients in St. Anthony and Maple Grove, MN. Dr. Kumar is a general dentist whose professional focus and expertise is in the specialties of implantation, and provides both traditional and innovative care options tailored to the needs of the individual patient. This includes: crowns, bridges, dentures, dental implants, gum disease diagnosis and treatment, root canals, wisdom teeth extractions, veneers, teeth whitening and Invisalign, as well as emergency dentistry treatments to help patients relieve painful symptoms and prevent further damage and complications. Dr. Kumar welcomes the opportunity to provide patient-centered care to patients of all ages, and the practice accepts most major dental insurance plans
Dr. Kumar completed his dental degree at Jamshoro University and has been practicing dentistry for more than 15 years. Dedicated to ensuring each patient gets the most appropriate treatment for their needs, Dr. Kumar maintains active memberships in several professional societies including the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry.
The most rewarding part of her career is helping patients change something that they may not have been born with, a smile they love. With the advancements in Dentistry, Invisalign will help straighten out crooked teeth, crowns and bridges will restore broken teeth to the original shape and color, veneers will give the white smile that the patient always wanted, and even implants to replace missing teethjust to name a few. Dr. Lam is married and has three kids two boys, and a girl. Dr. Lam is active at Church with Sunday school and The Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement. In her spare time, she likes to cook healthy food for her family, do yoga, and have a walk with her kids.
Dr. Tejani treats each patient as if they are a member of her family. She focuses on disease prevention and comprehensive care and works intentionally to practice dentistry with compassion and understanding. She treats dental emergencies and severe toothaches and strives to relieve patients pain as efficiently as possible. During procedures, she prioritizes patient comfort. She is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry, including crowns, root canals, veneers, dentures, extractions, and fillings.
Dr. Tejani earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from theHarvardUniversity School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Thereafter, she completed a General Practice Residency at the Minneapolis Veterans Administration. She has been in private practice for several years. Her extensive training means that she has a keen eye for detail and can provide you with exceptional care.
Dr. Tejani is committed to continuing education and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the Minneapolis District Dental Society. Outside of work, she enjoys ice skating, playing tennis, and spending time with her husband and two sons. In addition to English, she speaks Swahili, Spanish, and Hindi.
Born in India. She moved to the U.S when she was 13 ,where she grew up in Rogers, Minnesota and graduatedfrom Rogers High School. She went to St. Cloud State University for her undergraduate training, where she earned a degree in Biomedical Sciences. She continued her journey at the Mayo Clinic where she received further training in Histo Pathology. Dr. Jagannathan received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, where she received the J. Raymond Gill Award for Outstanding Achievement in Clinical Prosthodontics.
Dr. Jagannathansees her patients as her family and wants to make a positive impact in their lives. She strives to stay up to date on advances and changes in dentistry by being a member of the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.

I was referred to this office recently, as I needed a tooth pulled. I have always been terrified of dental offices, dentist's, and have never had great experiences. I will say my experience was very pleasant with Dr. J! She and her assistant were amazing, making me feel comfortable, talking me thru the process, and making sure I was pain free. She assisted with helping with my anxiety as well. I will be seeing her again, very soon. Thank you Dr J and team!

Dr. Kumar is a very skill dentist. He's the best dentist I've ever had. I got my first implant in 2013, which went flawlessly and I've never had concerns about. Today I had my second implant placed. It would be difficult for me to trust another clinic with an implant. Additionally, he does a great job of making sure I'm adequately numb before performing work that requires numbing. I've had bad experiences in the past with other dentists and I've never encountered that with Dr. Kumar. What I like about Dr. Kumar's dental practice is the attention to detail that he has for the office itself, it's clean and designed well. His staff is top notch. They communicate clearly and appear to work well with each other. Dr. Kumar appears to have an excellent relationship with his staff as you can tell with their interactions with each other. I would not go anywhere else.

Sorry I'm writing a review today that is so often stated that the people at almond dental are above average!!! But I'm not only going to recommend this Facility to anyone in need of a high standard dentistry, subsequently they are the best in all phases of dental care. From implant expertise and highly complex oral care, down to the basics of simple or basic cleaning and checkups. I'm giving Dr. Kumar 17.75 stars out of the normal overall grad experience of 1 through 10 . Ten is the best, but I'm saying that they deserve almost double that grade. This place should be given 10 stars, from the time you walk through the front door until you leave the entire staff makes sure your comfortable and answer all questions in detail to be sure you well informed. I had a tooth pulled and my dentist made sure the pain level was very low, I hardly felt a thing. I completely recommend this dentist office to all and especially those who have a fear of pain. They are very friendly with very good skills.

Couldn't get in for more than six months then after second or third, bi-yearly visit they still hadn't taken X-rays. Cleanings and especially exams felt rushed and not thorough. Worst part is my days off change and trying to reschedule always pushes my appointment out another 6-7 months which might need to be rescheduled again. What's the point when it might be a year or more between appointments. Waste of insurance $ when I can't get adequate care here.

Almond Dental is by far the best dental office I've been to in my life. Every single person that I talked to in the office was warm and personable. I actually felt like I was talking to my family or friends. I am also a complete ball of anxiety when it comes to seeing the dentist. Dr. Kumar and Kayla were just amazing, they made me feel completely comfortable! (I had three extractions for this visit and I literally felt nothing and they had them out within 20 minutes) In addition to the above, they listened to my concerns and were very informative and answered all my questions about the procedures I had to have done. I felt respected and genuinely cared for. I am honestly looking forward to the next visit for the implant! Thank you again, Dr. Kumar and Kayla!! You guys are the BEST!

If you need a regular appointment, this is not the place for you. I was told by the dentist I needed cleaning every 4 months, they push me out by 30 -90 days after 4 months constantly.
