Dr. Hal Wolfson earned his dental degree from NYU College of Dentistry and has practiced general dentistry for over 30 years. He obtained his bachelors degree from Brooklyn College where he grew up. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Hal served his country in the United States Navy with the Marine Corps in both Iwakuni, Japan and Taegu, South Korea. He also served stateside at Camp Pendleton, CA and at the submarine base in New London, CT. He was a drilling reservist at the time of Desert Storm. Dr. Hal has spent hundreds of hours updating his skills and techniques with countless continuing education classes. His areas of interest include childrens dentistry, implants and cosmetic dentistry.

He spent several years working in the inner city as a dentist for the Childrens Aid Society and as an associate in one of Manhattans most prestigious dental practices before coming to Clifton in 1991. Dr. Hal enjoys spending his spare time with his wife, Lori and 3 beautiful daughters, eating, laughing and traveling.

Dr. De Poto is a lifelong resident of Clifton. He grew up just around the corner from the office and graduated from Clifton High School and Montclair State University. His earned his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry and completed the General Practice Residency program at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair.

As a dentist, Dr. Fruchters holistic approach centers on preventive care as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. She believes that a beautiful smile is part of a healthy body. Dr. Fruchter loves all aspects of dentistry, but as a mom of 5 beautiful children especially loves working with kids. She also has extensive experience with patients with special needs.

Dr. Fruchter is a resident of Clifton and an active member of the community. She loves baking, cooking and entertaining. Dr. Fruchter is also on staff as a clinical instructor of dentistry at UMDNJ where she teaches and mentors future dentists.

Dr. Rubin is a graduate of NJ College of Dentistry and received her postdoctoral periodontics degree from UMDNJ. Dr. Rubin served as chief resident to future periodontists at UMDNJ. Dr. Rubin is a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology.

As both a Periodontist and Implantologist, she performs all aspects of periodontal surgery and non-surgical modalities including the placement of Dental Implants.Dr. Rubin is dentist thats certified by the American Academy of Facial Cosmetics to administer Botox and dermal fillers such as Restylane and Duraderm.Patient satisfaction is of paramount importance to Dr. Rubin and she prides herself on having an excellent rapport with each and every patient she treats.

Her prior experience in customer service has made her an ideal member of our front office. She is a big part of why Allwood Family Dentistry is unlike any medical ordental office you have ever been to.

Her prior experience in NYCs garment center makes her an asset to help our office run smoothly.She is a mother of 2 adult sons, a wife, a scout leader, interior designer (she designed our office), community leader and our office mom.

Danica (Receptionist & Assistant) started out as an intern during her senior year at Montclair State University while pursuing a major in Biology; Danica has grown to become a full-time team member at Allwood Family Dentistry. She currently works as both reception and assistant to provide our office with the help we need to run efficiently.

Abie (Reception) Abie is our delightful evening and Saturdayreceptionist. She will greet you with her ever present smile and a warm hello. She will help schedule your next visit, help with any questions you might have and make your visit to our office a pleasant one.

She can assist you in making your co-payments a little easier. She has known Dr. Wolfson the longest and is the person to ask about how implants made a big difference to her life. Ask her about her Brooklyn roots!

Nafeesa(Dental Hygienist) I am so proud of Nafeesa! Shecame to our office as ayoung highschool graduate over 10years ago wanting a position as a dental assistant with no dental experience. She quickly became an invaluable member of our office, learning thenecessary skills in record time.

Luz (Dental Hygienist) brightens dental cleanings on Saturday and Sunday mornings.She enhances your experiencewith her 8+ years at our office with her infectious smile and thorough excellent dental care. She is able to assist our patients in Spanish to help explain their treatment options.

Gina (Dental Hygienist) is our energizer bunny. She always has great thingshappening and lots of stories to tell. Shehas been in dentistry for over 30 years and a team member for over 10. Her knowledge of dentistry and how it relates to your total body health is unsurpassed. She is a pleasure to help serve our patients.

Jessie (Dental Assistant) has been a dental assistant for over 25 years and a terrific assistant here at Allwood Family Dentistry for over 5 years. It is sometimes scary that she knows what I need before I ask. Her warm, nurturing way will make the youngest patient and our most senior patients fell relaxed and comfortable as they anticipate their dental treatment.

Izarah Izzy (Dental Assistant) brings a delightful smile and attitude to Allwood Family Dentistry. She has been a dental assistant for over 3 years, and her love of dentistry has inspired her towards her goal of going to dental school.

She excelled in her volunteer workinboth Guatemala and at Evas Village of Paterson. She is the mom of a young son who is her pride and joy. She loves to dance and spend time with her friends and family.

Going to work each and everyday at Allwood Family Dentistry is fun and exciting because of our office, staff and most importantly, our patients. Fun and dentistry are two words not frequently used in the same sentence, but that is exactly why we take such great pride in not being your typical dental office.
