Dr. Allison was born and raised in Houma, LA. She was a Valedictorian graduate from Terrebonne High School in 2000. She then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Nicholls State University in 2004 and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Louisiana State University in New Orleans in 2010. Early after graduation, Dr. Melancon joined the National Health Service Corp to help give quality care to patients who had limited access to dental care. She has experience in treating patients of all ages and takes great pride in providing her patients with quality care and exceptional results. It is her goal to create a customized treatment plan tailored to meet the patients needs and to make sure all patients are treated in a gentle and comfortable manner.

Highly recommend Dr. Melancon and her staff. They were very professional and eased my anxiety by explaining everything before proceeding. She took her time and allowed me to ask as many questions as I wanted.

5 stars to everyone! Maria is so pleasant and welcoming as well as helpful as Office Manager. Nicole was like seeing an old friend after a long time. She gracefully endured my storytelling and skillfully X rayed and cleaned my teeth after a long time since my last dental visit. And you, Dr Allison were just as pleasant an professional as the others. My sincere thanks to ALL OF YOU! I couldn't have had a better experience. ESPECIALLY after not having seen a Dentist for over 2 years. I look forward to future visits!

From the first cold-call to them for an appointment, through the scheduling, paperwork, examination, explanation(s), care planning and next steps appointment scheduling.... I cannot find a single non-complimentary thing to say. (Waiting room was freezing... but they all are in our post-pandemic world). Everyone was absolutely kind, caring, efficient, patient, understanding and helpful. I can say what I've never said before in my life. I am looking forward to, and have no fear of, getting my teeth taken care of.

After years of terrible experiences at Dentists, Dr. Melancon and her team were absolutely incredible! From Dr herself, to my huge fist, and even Maria at the front desk- I can't say enough positive things. So patient and so kind and it was really just saw a Sigh of relief to be in that office. They were so gentle with my mouth, and I can't thank them all enough and look forward to my routine cleanings!

As with all business, the nearest appointment was to be in about 4-5 weeks. My schedule is such that if an earlier appointment opened I could come in. It was so! About 4 weeks sooner for my first cleaning and exam. My hygienist ( I'm sorry I don't remember her name, my memory isn't good with names). was very nice, friendly and informative. Dr Allison was also very kind and explained everything that was pertinent to my mouth.

Nicole , dental hygienist, is one of the best hygienist , ever ! Patient, efficient cleaning of my teeth. Especially skilled at the administration of the shots of anesthesia prior to the procedure ! Almost entirely pain free ! Great appointment
