Dr. Allison Jarrett is originally from Beckley, West Virginia. She attended West Virginia University for both her undergraduate and graduate studies. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2016. After dental school, she completed a general practice residency at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. There, she was given the Resident of the Year Award and the Excellence in Restorative Dentistry Award. Following residency, she lived in Lexington, Kentucky where she worked for a private practice. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the West Virginia Dental Association, and the Kanawha Valley Dental Association.

Recently relocating to Charleston, Dr. Jarrett couldnt be happier to be back home in the mountain state.
Jovanna is from Pennsylvania and graduated from Connellsville High School in 2001. She attended WV Institute of Technology and earned an associate degree in dental hygiene in 2003. She has worked in Family Dentistry since 2004 and enjoys working with patients of all ages.
Melinda grew up in Craigsville, WV, and graduated from Richwood High School. She attended West Virginia University and West Virginia Institute of Technology and graduated from WVIT with an associate degree in dental hygiene in 1992.
Jessi is from Van, West Virginia and graduated from Van Junior-Senior High School in 2012. She attended Bridge Valley Community and Technical College and graduated with an associate degree in dental hygiene in 2015. Jessi works for us as a hygienist, as well as a dental assistant and front office personnel. She enjoys discussing treatment options with our patients to help them decide what would better address their needs and seeing the end result once the patient has made their decision.
Patty, with great enthusiasm, serves as office manager for Dr. Allison Jarrett. She graduated from Carver Career Center in 1980, and began her dental career as a certified dental assistant for Dr. Donzie Lilly. She then worked for Dr. Charles L. Smith beginning in 1985 in his front office. Her many talents allow her to flow effortlessly throughout the dental practice. The most rewarding aspect of Pattys career is helping to make dentistry affordable for all to create beautiful smiles for her patients.
Loretta has been a certified dental assistant since 2006. Born and raised in Lewis County, Loretta graduated from Lewis County High School. She has two adult daughters and resides in Clay County with her husband. In her free time, Loretta enjoys spending time with her family, camping and fishing!
Tara has been a part of our team since 2018 and graduated from the Carver Career and Technical Education Center with the highest honors in her class. Committed to making sure that every patient is comfortable with their treatment, Tara makes a point to explain the upcoming procedure and answer any question you may have with a smile!

I absolutely hate going to the dentist. I had to have a tooth pulled and Dr Jarrett took it out quickly and painlessly. Dr. Jarrett and her office made me feel 100% comfortable. Everyone in the office is caring and friendly.

For me to rate a dentist at 100 percent is a true anomaly. My experience, however, on this occasion, was that it takes an entire staff, tightly woven and chosen, to provide service excellence to a traumatized individual with prior negative experiences... At any level and/or scale . The staff here works better than the London guard... They greet you with a sense that you have become part of a family who gets you, and your concerns. From Patty at the moment of entrance and escort through the process... To Loretta and her ability to understand and comprehend the complexity of patient care, psychology, and trauma... To the absolutely expert skill, care, and bedside manner of the skilled dentist (Dr. Jarrett) who helps with not only the physical immediate need of the patient ... But the heart of the matter as well (the need for the patient to regain trust after negative prior life trauma and/or dental experiences). In short, you'll leave with not only 100 percent excellent care in dentistry, but with the knowledge that the entire staff is a perfect working family....and that's what you felt when you entered, & is percent validated when you exit. And, as for myself, I have found my forever family dentist. They are the best in all the land .... I'm privileged to share the good news about my experience
