Office Staff told me they took my insurance but then weeks later sent me a bill saying sorry no we don't take it. Only went here based on a referral, could have stayed at my normal dentist for my kiddo at no extra cost. The staff when asked about this bill gets rude. Watch out for the switcharoo and high bill! Dental staff was nice and did a good job, but not what our dentist referred us to them for. So now in a billing debate with unprofessional back-office staff. Not one to post, but no one should have to deal will liars. I'm carful when using this term!

It was night and day experience with my two sons. With the 9 year old they explained what they were doing to him, made sure he was numb before using the needle numbing meds, then made sure it took and he was numb again before starting his procedure. For my 6 year old: Dentist never checked to see if the topical numbing meds were working. She told my son the giant needle was just "water" being poured in his mouth. He was not numb. She then didn't check to see if the needle numbing worked before she started drilling his teeth out and doing a two tooth root canal. She told him the drill was her "friend the little brush." I was not informed a full root canal was going to be performed either. I was told it was a "root patch" to patch up the tooth. My first son's anesthesia took a while to set in which is normal in the family. She should have considered that when treating the youngest. My son also gets overwhelmed with loud noises and lights however I was informed the TV being on loud and inches from his eyes was mandatory. The scheduler informed me I needed both doctor and office manager approval to not have that on. This practice is a nightmare set up for autistic and sensory sensitive kids. I informed them my son had previous issue with versade and requested not to use it. They told me he would have to. When he arrived they gave my six year old a combination of versade and valium. Again I was informed as a parent my refusal was not acceptable and it would be up to the office manager. He has a horrible reaction to the meds. He didn't know where he was and kept "waking up" (the closest I can explain) screaming in terror for the next 3 hours while the meds wore off. He had multiple hallucinations. We did not do a follow up appointment here. Kids no matter the age deserve the right to consent and be informed. Of note; he had been seen prior to at a separate dentist who did not sedate him and did great. He is my brave tough kid. This was a nightmare.

This is the first dental office that my daughter hasn't been traumatized. She loves it there. And the staff are amazing. The explain things thoroughly and genuinely enjoy their jobs. I will not ever go to another pediatric dentist office. This is it for us

The most patient caring people! My autistic son originally went to seguin Childrens dentistry for tooth pain and a check up. He needed work done as dental care is hard for him and SCD was ready to pull all of his teeth and held him down just for an exam. It was traumatic. I decided to get a second opinion at alligator dental and was SO pleased. They did what he was comfortable with and nothing more. Once he was sedated for his procedure they did everything else. My child was able to keep all teeth besides one that was infected - and over looked by SCD. He was comfortable afterwards and Dr Al even texted us personally to check up on him. we went back for a cleaning last week and had just as good of an experience. My daughter also had a procedure done and everything went perfect then too. I love this office and won't go elsewhere. The wait can be long but there's plenty in the waiting area to keep kids occupied.

I love bring my daughter to Alligator dental! They have movies playing for the kids, a play ground outside while you wait, and little prizes for them at the end. The best part is that they take a picture of your child when you first get there and at the end you get a report card with their picture on it!

Staff id always very welcoming and friendly. My daughter loves going to get her teeth looked at, even if she isn't a fan of the exam. They are always very patient with her and interact with her. They make us all very comfortable about the experience. Will keep taking her to this office for as long as she can go.
