Dr. Al Burns received his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Ohio State University and Nationwide Childrens Hospital in June 2009. He then became Board Certified in 2010. His education included advanced studies and specialized training in dentistry for children, adolescents, special needs, and medically compromised patients. His training also focused on sedation, anesthesia dentistry, and interceptive orthodontics. He received his Masters of Science Degree from Ohio State University.
Dr. Burns graduated from the University of Nebraska Dental School in 2007, and he received his Bachelors Degree from Utah State University in 2003. He directs all dental services at Alligator Dental, including providing prophylaxis and dental care treatment.
Dr. Anas Hakimeh received his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Rutgers University in New Jersey in 2017. He was born and raised in Damascus, Syria. As an older teen he moved to Hamburg, Germany to study and attended dental school at the Charite, University of Berlin, graduating in 2009. Shortly after graduation Dr. Anas returned to Syria to practice as a General Dentist. In 2014, he was accepted into the pediatric dentistry program at Rutgers University and relocated to the United States to complete his training.
Dr. Anas enjoys traveling and reading about different cultures. Food is his passion and he likes to cook, especially Mediterranean food. He loves the sun, tennis, water activities and his wife, Caroline.
Dr. Dori Causey was born and raised in Houston, TX and graduated from the Universityof Texas at Austin with a degree in psychology and chemistry. She received herdoctorate of dental surgery from The University of Texas Health San Antonio andcompleted an additional residency specializing in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Dori is trainedin oral conscious sedation, interceptive orthodontics, special needs, and medicallycompromised patients.
She is a board eligible candidate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She isalso a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy ofPediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association.
Dr. Dori is married to her husband Chase and together they recently welcomed their firstchild, Adelyn. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, trying newrestaurants and exploring the outdoors.
Dr. Scott graduated from Utah State University with a degree in biology then attended Washington University School of Dental Medicine for his dental training. He currently is a member of the ADA House of Delegates and a past member of the ADA Council on Dental Practice. He treats patients both in private practice in Utah, and in Texas, at Alligator Dental.
Dr. Scott has 30+ years of experience in dentistry including treating children of all ages, cosmetic procedures on permanent teeth, root canal therapy, deep cleanings, and of course routine exams, cleanings and restorative treatment. He loves his job - working with skilled and caring dental team members, and interacting with patients of all ages to help them maintain their smiles.
Dr. Scott and his wife Teresa have 4 children, two who are married to dentists and one who is a dentist. They are also very proud grandparents to 14 grandchildren. He loves spending time with his family and being a grandfather. He also enjoys yard work, watching sports, fly fishing and volunteering in community, church, and tech-ed organizations.

Usually, we have a great experience at this dentist office. Today was not so great, my son had to have crowns put in his teeth. We showed up at 6:30 this morning staff was really rude to us. The anesthesiologist was very unprofessional asking me for a kiss after I kissed my son. The Dentist on the other hand was super nice and understanding.

The service was great, dentist and dental assistants were lovely, as well as the place. Unfortunately at the end of the visit once the services were performed, and I was about to leave. They disclosed to me that I had to pay for the services upfront and then INSURANCE would send me a check. I didn't understand and I kept asking the two older ladies that were helping me, "why it was being done this way? " I have used the insurance before and that has never happened. They were very unpolite and trying to make me feel stupid and telling me " it's just the way it's done, and YOUR insurance does it like that!" Once I had to pay for the services I called my insurance and they then told me, this office/provider doesn't take my insurance. That's why I had to pay for it upfront. Not once when I set the appointment (two weeks prior and they ran my social) did they tell me that they did not accept my insurance or anything of that nature. The two older ladies were then making rude comments regarding my situation with me sitting right there. I believe when you are entering a business to receive a services or have A procedure performed, the billing / front desk that are there to help, should definitely be able to answer your questions especially if you don't understand! Also if there is any copayment or your insurance is not taken that should be told upfront when the appointment is made because in my case they asked for my social security number and ran my insurance and NOT ONCE told that they didn't accept it. Very disappointed. Instead of investing so much money into their location they should invest more money into knowledgeable people (the billing dept) that have better customer service and more knowledge of the information that you are asking, because answering with, " that's just the way it's done" isn't the correct information or correct way to do it.

My son and I had a great experience at the San Marcos location. Staff were very friendly , dental assistant and Dr. A were beyond great and made my son and I feel comfortable with the whole process. 10/10 recommend

We have been going to Alligator dental for years now and I can definitely recommend it. Good doctor, remembers his patients and the staff is the friendliest out of all the doctors office we have ever visited.

I can't say enough good things about this place. We were welcomed by text before our appointment and even sent a thank you card after our visit. Tammy went above and beyond helping us through everything and her personal touch really made that special for us my kids get nervous with dental procedures and Dr.Anas was Ah-mazing when it came to the actual visit itself he made the experience fun and informative and seriously excited to go back. Kelsea made sure we had a blast showing us around to the arcade games, play ground and 2,, yes 2,, movie theaters! We are all switching over to Alligator Dental and they made sure we won't ever miss a single check up again!

First time going here and my daughter LOVED it!! The minute you waking all the way to the end of the appointment was awesome! My daughter is usually scared to go to the dentist but since I found this one she was telling me she wants to go back. Dr.A was so awesome and the lady that helped us!! Thank you so much for masking this so easy for my daughter! I will definitely keep going here with my daughter.

Our 3.5 year old had severe pain while we were on vacation. I called an hour before closing and the wonderful people at Alligator Dental fit us in right at 4:45pm. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Our daughter said the dentist wasn't scary at all! She had the best time. The offices were clean and inviting. Dr. Anas was so kind and helpful. If we lived closer we would DEFINITELY make this our regular pediatric dentist. SOOO GREAT!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience! My daughter is only 6 months so I wasn't expecting much but the whole visit was great. The staff was very nice and professional. We were comfortable the entire time we were there. Dr. Anas was so great with my daughter she was all smiles the whole time. Walking around the facility they had so much stuff for kids of all ages. I can't wait for my daughter to grow with this office. I 100% will be recommending this office to every one I know.

My four-year-old is usually pretty scared and Dr. patient situations and their facilities as well as their staff made him very comfortable and we had no problem getting his teeth cleaned or taking x-rays. It was very well done and we look forward to working with him in the future.

Worst place to go. The dentist and his assistants are really nice tho. But get ready to have issues with insurance and scheduling issues. I gave them another chance after 7 years or having issues with them before and guess what the disappointed me again. Tell me to arrive at 8am to then be told that they put my number wrong and didn't get a confirmation so now they want me to come back at 2pm. No-one! I have things to do and a schedule to keep.

I love this place so much. It was the first time my baby went to the dentist. The assistant was amazing and so nice. She gave me so much information and gave me tips on how to keep my child's teeth clean and what was going to happen. They have so many things to keep kids busy. Like the theater game room and more. I truly recommend this place if you have small children.

I love this office! I NEVER ever ever ever ever ever write back reviews for anything but I want all my mom friends to have this same experience as we did! From start to finish it was flawless! The doctors assistant Jennifer was so awesome my kids talked about her for A day The doctor was the kindest man After the appointment I was bought to talk with Katie to help plan my child's treatment. She answered all my questions and called my husband after his work day 8pm to explain to him as well so we knew everything we had questions for! Wake up folks! You don't have to hate your dental trips any more
