Dr. Al Burns received his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Ohio State University and Nationwide Childrens Hospital in June 2009. He then became Board Certified in 2010. His education included advanced studies and specialized training in dentistry for children, adolescents, special needs, and medically compromised patients. His training also focused on sedation, anesthesia dentistry, and interceptive orthodontics. He received his Masters of Science Degree from Ohio State University.
Dr. Burns graduated from the University of Nebraska Dental School in 2007, and he received his Bachelors Degree from Utah State University in 2003. He directs all dental services at Alligator Dental, including providing prophylaxis and dental care treatment.
Dr. Anas Hakimeh received his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Rutgers University in New Jersey in 2017. He was born and raised in Damascus, Syria. As an older teen he moved to Hamburg, Germany to study and attended dental school at the Charite, University of Berlin, graduating in 2009. Shortly after graduation Dr. Anas returned to Syria to practice as a General Dentist. In 2014, he was accepted into the pediatric dentistry program at Rutgers University and relocated to the United States to complete his training.
Dr. Anas enjoys traveling and reading about different cultures. Food is his passion and he likes to cook, especially Mediterranean food. He loves the sun, tennis, water activities and his wife, Caroline.
Dr. Dori Causey was born and raised in Houston, TX and graduated from the Universityof Texas at Austin with a degree in psychology and chemistry. She received herdoctorate of dental surgery from The University of Texas Health San Antonio andcompleted an additional residency specializing in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Dori is trainedin oral conscious sedation, interceptive orthodontics, special needs, and medicallycompromised patients.
She is a board eligible candidate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She isalso a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy ofPediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association.
Dr. Dori is married to her husband Chase and together they recently welcomed their firstchild, Adelyn. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, trying newrestaurants and exploring the outdoors.
Dr. Scott graduated from Utah State University with a degree in biology then attended Washington University School of Dental Medicine for his dental training. He currently is a member of the ADA House of Delegates and a past member of the ADA Council on Dental Practice. He treats patients both in private practice in Utah, and in Texas, at Alligator Dental.
Dr. Scott has 30+ years of experience in dentistry including treating children of all ages, cosmetic procedures on permanent teeth, root canal therapy, deep cleanings, and of course routine exams, cleanings and restorative treatment. He loves his job - working with skilled and caring dental team members, and interacting with patients of all ages to help them maintain their smiles.
Dr. Scott and his wife Teresa have 4 children, two who are married to dentists and one who is a dentist. They are also very proud grandparents to 14 grandchildren. He loves spending time with his family and being a grandfather. He also enjoys yard work, watching sports, fly fishing and volunteering in community, church, and tech-ed organizations.

Me and my wife called this place a month in advance and ask if our insurance was in network and also gave them our information to confirm. Well they lied to us and now we are out on $700 because we had to pay out of pocket. Would NOT recommend going here if they are going to lie to our face to make money!

I recently have had two extremely pleasant encounters with Alligator Dental in Cibolo. Each time has been great, but the last two times, the receptionist, Lauren has been so amazing! Since the pandemic, I've noticed customer service just isn't what it use to be, but Lauren has restored my hope! She is friendly, very sweet, informative and just all around, a breath of fresh air. I am a mom with two little boys and one of my sons has to have his bottom two teeth pulled and she gave me such comfort and just reassured me that he would be in great hands. This woman deserves a raise! Thank you, Lauren and thank you Alligator Dental

As a parent, a new one at that, it's important to me that my son gets the best care but also, it's important to me that he feels comfortable. I am SO happy I chose to move my son to this office. Of course he loves the play areas, but he also loves the team and Dr. Al! Thank you Dr. Al for explaining everything in detail and for answering the questions we had! Thank you for making our first visit a welcoming one! We will definitely be returning!

Dr. Al and his staff are PHENOMENAL! My kids love how gentle and caring they all are. Dr. Al took the time to explain everything my kids had going on in their mouths and was just downright amazing. I wish we would have switched sooner! Also, they're lobby is so fantastic my kids didn't want to leave.

Dr. Al and all of his staff are awesome! The Office is great, my kids didn't want to leave!! We moved to Texas about a year and a half ago and have been to two different pediatric dental office's and I was not impressed with either of them. So glad to finally find a great dental office for my kids!

It was my sons Clinton first time going to the dentist and it was a awesome, quick and painless process. Everyone energy was friendly and informative. My son loved his visit, from the front desk Taylor to the dental assistant Kaylee and Dr. Burns thank you for the great service provided.

We just moved the area so we where looking for a new dentist. Let me just say I am beyond happy with this place my kids love it and call them their friends. They have made every experience for us fun and easy. Love the waiting room area my kids have so much fun and the baby is able to play also.

I have four children ranging from 8 to 1 years old and the office is so fun and accommodating to all ages! I love the baby rooms for infants and toddlers that are too small or fussy for the big chair. All the staff is polite and friendly. Everyone always has a smile on their faces and Dr. Al makes all the children feel relaxed and comfortable during teeth cleaning and dental procedures. I will never go to another children's dental. They are the best!

I was blown away with the fun stuff for kids and most importantly the staff. Happy to come back. They do make kids and parents smile

I highly recommend Alligator - Cibolo. My granddaughter and I love this place! Dr. Al and his entire staff are friendly and professional. They all go through great strides to make patient and parent/grandparent comfortable and informed.

I say 5 this is far the BEST I have been thur especially in town i just moved into and both my sons enjoyed it so much especially my 1st son who 22 month old ,everytime we come he recognize the place and love all fun activities and also they loved the staff and the Dr. . The girls also so friendly and also kind to help me espeically a mom of 2 n its a handful wit little ones... I NEVER doubt this place... I love it... We loved it... Were definitely contuine to come....
