I had 4 implants in upper left,they pulled all my teeth upper and lower put 4 implants in upper which i was worry about because of old implants,they put bone grafts in, sinus lift.Then 4 implants in upper,then 3 implants in lower,i now can eat corn on cob,steak whatever,they care about you,and want quite till you are satisfied.Thank you so much.

I recently started going to this dental practice and I have had nothing but great service. Dr.Straughan and the staff are very friendly, efficient and always go the extra mile to make sure I am comfortable before my procedures!

Dr. Charles is so disrespectful towards his workers. He apparently throws things at them and treats them like garbage. I would NOT recommend this place. If he treats his workers this bad how bad do you think he would treat you.

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Straughan since we moved to Charlotte. Referred to us by a very particular dental school classmate, Dr. Straughan has taken excellent care of us since we started seeing him! If you're looking for a dentist who takes his time with patients, listens to their concerns and performs his craft with care, Dr. Straughan is the choice. I've been to many dentists in my life, most of which I feel are "selling me" on a treatment plan. Dr. Straughan is the first dentist I've had who I feel takes a practical, disciplined approach to long-term dental care. We'll never go elsewhere as long as we're in Charlotte!

Dr. Straughan is amazing! I recently had tremendous tooth pain which unfortunately required an emergency root canal. Dr. Straughan performed the procedure expertly, I didn't feel a thing. I had one at another dentist about 10 years prior and it was among the most painful experiences ever. After 24 hours, I am as good as new with no more pain! I have been going to Dr. Straughan for over 2 years now and I won't be switching any time soon. Can't recommend highly enough!

Never thought I would have a dentist I actually liked and don't panic to go see,,Dr Straughn has done some amazing work with my mouth and teeth and by the time he's done I will have an incredible smile with teeth to be proud of,,I highly recommend him to anyone, he's very honest and very precise with his expectations for your smile,, he has an awesome team..

Absolutely one of the best experiences I have had at a dentist in Charlotte. All the staff were incredibly friendly & helpful and Dr. Straughan was amazing. Not only is he incredibly knowledgable but he made me feel comfortable & calm about a not so fun procedure. You can tell he really cares about his patients. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Dr. Vanlanen since I moved to Charlotte. Dr. Vanlanen and his staff are the absolute best! His expertise and chair side manner are second to none. I'm a bit of a chicken with dental stuff but he always puts me at ease!

I began bringing my children here when the practice was Doctor Mello in Van lanen. Dr. Mello retired and the practice continued with Dr Van lanen Dentistry he has patience understanding and he develops a true and sincere relationships with his patients. The office staff and dental hygienist team do a remarkable job of ensuring that you have a very calm and pleasant visit and they often give you at least two reminders up upcoming appointments. If you are looking for Family Dentistry this is the place for you.
