Dr. Lewis is happy to be a part of multiple organizations that give back to the community. Whether shes helping children smile through the ADAs Give Kids a Smile program, fundraising money for the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation and the National Kidney Foundation, hosting local 5K runs or working directly with Allen ISD, youll find that she and her team love giving back in ways that truly make a difference.
When Dr. Lewis was just eight years old, she was in a major car accident that left her with a broken jaw. This injury required multiple surgeries and visits to the dentists office to fully correct. The silver lining of this incident was that it inspired her lifelong love of the dental field! Thankfully, she had a great team of dentists taking care of her who later became her mentors. Today, she wants to be able to help each patient feel as comfortable as that dental office did for her all those years ago.
After graduating as the valedictorian of her high school class, Dr. Lewis completed her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry with honors from the University of Southern Mississippi. She then attended the Howard University College of Dentistry, where she received the Community Dentistry Award and the Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Award. She is also certified in Invisalign and laser dentistry. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Lewis is happily married to Derico, who was her high school sweetheart. They have two kids named Blake and Olivia, as well as a fur-baby Boxer named Chase. When she isnt busy at the dental office, her favorite things include traveling, attending her kids' swimming, basketball & golf events, and participating in local fun runs with her friends.
Danis career in dentistry spans over a full decade, with the last few years spent right here at Allen Smile Design. She studied at both Collin County Community College and Richland Community College before attending the dental hygiene program at El Centro College. Today, she is a registered RDH with certifications in CPR, OSHA/HIPAA, and laser dentistry. Her favorite part of this job is getting to work with such a great team while also helping patients improve their dental health every day.
Dani was actually born and raised in Belize as the youngest of four children. She speaks English and Belizean Creole (Kriol); shes also working on improving her Spanish-speaking skills! When she has free time, she enjoys traveling, trying new cuisines, hanging out with loved ones, and volunteering for dental hygiene mission trips.
After studying at Collin College, Jiyan completed her dental assistant training at Richland College through Dental Careers Foundation. Today, she is a Registered Dental Assistant with training in CPR. She loves working for such a talented and compassionate dentist like Dr. Lewis!
Jiyan is a middle child with three brothers and one sister. When she has free time outside of work, you can usually find her reading a good book or going to Starbucks. Her outgoing personality and ability to get along with everyone is perfect for our patients, and she looks forward to meeting you soon.
A Dallas native, Daisy has studied at Collin County Community College and is currently pursuing a degree in Broadcast Journalism at the University of North Texas. She is a Registered Dental Assistant with certifications in CPR and nitrous oxide. She loves the positive, upbeat atmosphere here at Allen Smile Design and is proud to be part of the team!
Daisy has a young daughter who keeps her very busy when shes not at work. Her hobbies include reading, writing, and capturing family moments and beautiful snapshots of nature in video/photography whenever possible.
