Dr. Geraldine Torrens-Parker was born and raised in Maracaibo, Venezuela.She received herDoctor of Dental Surgerydegree from La UniversidaddelZulia in Venezuela in 2002. Dr. Torrens-Parker then completed training in Prosthodontics, whichincluded the study of mouthrehabilitation, veneers, crowns, bridges, dental implantrestorations and oral appliances. She obtained her Master of ScienceDegreeatColumbiaUniversity in New York City. Her education and training has allowedDrTorrens-Parkerspracticeto offer a comprehensive approach to dental care.
I love being a dentist. Over the years I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderfulpeople, and friendships that Ive built with my patients and their families are one in a million. Itsalways been my focus to make each patient feel at home when they come to me for treatment andI work hard to give my patients the attention they deserve.
Dr. Torrens-Parker is fluent in English and Spanish and is also an an active member of the Allen community. When not at work, she likes exercising, traveling, andspending time with her husband, Rafael, and two children, Juliana and Joaquin.
Missy, our office manager, has been with us since 2014, and has a degree in Business Administration. Sheloves seeing patients smile, and being one of the first of many friendly faces that patients see when they visit our office.
Missy is married to her high school sweetheart, with whom she has two beautiful children. When she is not making patients smile, she enjoys cooking, family adventures, being outdoors, crafts, and travelling with her family.
Jennifer is a registered dental hygienist and is nitrous and CPR certified. She is a graduate of Northeast Texas Community College and loves the relationships she is able to develop with her patients and fellow team members. She lives with her husband of 13 years and their two daughters. Her household is rounded out by a dog named dixie in addition to 4 chickens. When she isnt at work, she enjoys camping, hunting, reading, and anything that allows her to be outside.
Maira joined our team in 2019 and has earned a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Shes completed certifications and continuing education courses in the administration of CPR and nitrous oxide, as well as the use of the automated external defibrillator. Our patients find her to be gentle and friendly. Maira is the oldest of three children and her parents live in Del Rio, TX. She has two dogs, Frankie and Takufa. Her hobbies include baking and DIY projects.
Nicole joined our team in 2021 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Apollo College in Boise, Idaho, and has certifications in CPR, nitrous oxide, and HIPPA compliance. Our patients appreciate the friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate care she provides. In her free time, Nicole volunteers with the North Texas Food Bank and enjoys spending time with her three children, being at the pool, running, and traveling.
Glenda has been a certified registered dental assistant with us since 2014, and is a member of the Dental Assisting National Board. She also holds special certifications in CPR and the administration of nitrous oxide sedation. Glendaloves putting patients at ease and making them feel confident by explaining exactly what they can expect during each visit.
Krystal is a registered dental assistant and also works in our front office, and has been with our practice since 2015. She is also specially-certified in CPR and the administration of nitrous oxide sedation. Known for her friendliness and helpful, caring nature, Krystal uses her insurance knowledge to help take the stress and guesswork out of the insurance process.

I'm so happy to have found Allen Family Dental. The staff here are amazing & friendly. They make you feel at ease & my experience with them has been very positive. I'm highly afraid of dentist & hadn't been to one in over 10 years & really needed to go have a checkup. After my first visit they referred me to a specialist to have a wisdom tooth removed & I loved that referral. I have been back for my cleanings & not afraid of this dental office at all. I highly recommend them especially if you have a fear of dentist like I did. They will take great care of you & make sure to explain everything they are doing & what your cost after insurance will be before they do any work. So thankful to have found a dentist for all my dental needs!

I made an appointment at Allen Family Dental for a second opinion on a gum concern. My experience from pre visit to the end of my consult was excellent. Each person I interacted with was pleasant, efficient, and knowledgeable. Dr. Parker took the time to answer all of my concerns. I came in for a second opinion, but left as a permanent patient.
