Went to Allen Dental Group Sept 2022. First Visit. What a pleasant experience. Dentist, dental assistant, everyone in the office - pleasant, welcoming,, courteous, professional - I couldn't be happier. I had a partial plate made and it was done so quickly - and so competently. I couldn't be happier. I really can recommend them without reservation.

The staff at the Portland office are like family. They know me, personally and they share themselves with me. Laura goes far and above and Robin is always the first happy face I see when I walk in the door! I leave feeling like I've had the best dental experience every time!

I have not liked going to the dentist since I was a child. I have been going to see Dr. Colby now for a few years. We drive up to Portland from Harlingen, which is about 2 1/2 hours each way. I love Dr. Colby and his staff. They always help, make us comfortable and listen. The staff is amazing. The entire office is truly there to help people and to care for their patients and to put the patients first. Thank you to the staff, Dr. Colby and Miss Robyn. As always, we are grateful to you all for everything you do. If anyone wants to know how I feel about recommending Allen Dental Group in Portland ---- ---- ---- We, recommend them 100%!

The anesthetic procedure is AMAZING. Like honest to God I felt nothing, they use a 3 step process. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing you again!!!

They have been changing dentist so frequently, and they will NOT stand by the work of the previous dentists that worked there. I had some bad work done, and they even admitted it was done incorrectly. Despite that, they still wanted me to pay for their mistakes, because the previous dentist was no longer working there. Now I'm stuck paying full price to have another dentist fix the crown, because insurance does not cover having work redone in a certain amount of time. I recommend avoiding this place. Response to owner- offering to redo the crown for $650, that dr Cuellar didnt seat properly to the gum line, therefore causing decay (which is what dr medina told me), is not what I'd consider making things right. I gave them every chance to fix the problem, which any good dentist would have done when they found out they did a crown incorrectly. But, they refused to fix it, unless I paid $650. Furthermore, this isn't slander. It would only be considered slander if it were not the truth. This is an honest review, and simply sharing my experience. You are lucky I didn't sue you!

They are very caring friendly staff, very eager to help with any problems that might arise during and after ur treatments. Very professional. Loved everyone that works there. Very sympathetic to those of us with strong fear of dentist like me. Would absolutley recommend this place to everyone. Can't say enough good things about this place.
