She holds a Class 3 sedation permit (which means deep sedation, conscious sedation, and nitrous oxide utilization) through the Oregon Board of Dentistry. She is affiliated with the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and Rogue Valley Dental Society. She is also Advanced Life Support certified and has been training in Invisalign correction since 2003.
Dr. Johnson has been studying at the Frank Spear Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona, since 2005. Spear Education provides continuing education for dentists who are dedicated to the pursuit of clinical excellence in dentistry. She has been a Spear Faculty Club and Study Club member since 2015.
Originally from Austin, Texas, where she worked as a dental assistant prior to dental school, Dr. Johnson moved to the Oregon Coast for her first job as a dentist in 1999. She moved to Grants Pass in 2002, fell in love with the community and of course, the climate! and opened Allen Creek Dental in 2003.

First time in and the doctor, hygienist, and receptionist were great! While no one really enjoys going to the dentist I can say I had a good experience and look forward to going back for my regular teeth cleaning etc..

Absolutely love this office! Always been so terrified of the Dentist. I no longer feel that way thanks to Dr Johnson and her awesome staff. Never have I felt so comfortable. If your terrified of the dentist go to Dr Johnson and I promise you wont be disappointed.

Dr. Johnson and staff are excellent and use the latest technology. I felt comfortable and in very good hands. Dr. Johnson has also helped my elderly mother and was extremely kind and thorough with her exam. I highly recommend her!!

Unfortunately, I do not recommend this dentist. Perhaps for cleanings and simple fillings this office would be fine, but for more advanced dentistry, I would recommend going elsewhere. Sorry to say that, however, I think people ought to be aware.

Amazing group of women. I was made comfortable immediately, everyone was courteous and smiling (behind the masks). Dr Johnson explained everything so well and thoroughly. All my insurance questions were answered before I asked them. It was an excellent dental visit! And the window view from the chair was very soothing. Best dental experience ever!
