All his life, Allen Walker wanted to be a dentist. An ambitious student at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, his mother pleaded with him to follow another path. By his junior year at Stephen F. Austin State University, she had given up.
He entered the U.S. Army upon graduating from dental school at UT Houston. He attained the rank of captain, serving as a dentist at home and abroad in Nuremberg, Germany. 'I love being a dentist. I can 't imagine doing anything else,' he often remarks. Upon fulfilling his commitment to country, he settled in Katy, assuming the late Dr. James Williams ' practice next to the fire station in November of 1995.
With his eye on progress, he built a new, larger office on Avenue D, where he relocated in October of 2000 to support growth and meet demand for state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. He was pleased to make the transition with his loyal staff, some of whom have worked with him since he entered the private profession.
Dr. Walker dedicates himself to his profession and his family and stays busy raising six children with his wife. He spent several privileged years coaching the Katy Girls' Softball Association and is a proud supporter of the Katy High School FFA and Athletic Department, where several of his daughters have attended.
Allen is an active member of Kingsland Baptist Church. He enjoys brisket, the Fourth of July, the occasional cruise and golfing when time permits. An active member of the community, you'll often see Allen at school and community theater productions, civic events and Police Fish Fries. He supports the Katy Police, the Fire Department Education Fund, the NRA and the Katy Tiger Band. He admires art, primarily sculpture, and great architecture.
Allen Walker is committed to providing the very best dental care possible. He takes his continuing education seriously and meets monthly with local doctors to study and implement the latest science and technology. In addition to quality treatment, he diligently advocates preventive care, regularly assisting the Smile health awareness program in their outreach to children. In the office, Dr. Walker practices what he preaches. Every routine visit to his office is met with a full dental exam, ensuring you stay in the very best of health.

I recently got two teeth pulled by Dr. Walker that I've been avoiding for a very long time. I feel SO much better now, glad I finally decided to get it done. Dr. Walker and his amazing staff put me at ease and got me taken care of. Great communication and outstanding work! Aftercare was a breeze!

Hands Down Best Dentist in Katy! My wife, 4 kids and I have been treated here for about 6-7 years involving simple to complex issues and Dr. Walker and his staff are wonderful. For me personally it's encouraging to deal with professionals that treat you like a person and make you feel like you don't have to be embarrassed for issues that arise. Dr. Walker and his staff are very uplifting and flexible.

Hands Down Best Dentist in Katy! My wife, 4 kids and I have been treated here for about 6-7 years involving simple to complex issues and Dr. Walker and his staff are wonderful. First visit. Alyssa the technician's tooth cleaning most thorough and gentle I'v ever had. Walker's bedside manner seems very good but I did not have any work done directly by him.

This is such clean, professional and wonderful dentistry office! The staff, notably Dr. Raspberry (who I believe is one of the most skilled dentists in the state of Texas) really care about your hygiene and health! The prices are also incredibly fair for the quality of care you receive! They treat you like family

This is such clean, professional and wonderful dentistry office! The staff, notably Dr. Raspberry (who I believe is one of the most skilled dentists in the state of Texas) really care about your hygiene and health! The prices are also incredibly fair for the quality of care you receive! They treat you like family

Came in with a throbbing wisdom tooth, no insurance and worried about just how much of my pell grant I'll be giving away. They got me in within 30 minutes of my phone call, the office staff is polite, friendly and very helpful. I love how homey his office feels but he has very modern equipment. Dr. Walker is an Army Veteran and has a wonderful bedside manner, he made me feel like I'm actually a person he wanted to get to know, not just a mouth of teeth. He was quick to examine me, explained my x ray and gave me his best opinion. He made sure to give me the lowest cost medication and my exam was 110$ I paid about 25$ for my meds at walgreens, I was expecting much more. He is giving me a great price on my extraction once the infection clears. No wonder he's been my families dentist for years now.
