Dr. Morgan Floyd received her doctorate of dental medicine from The University of Alabama School of Dentistry in her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Floyd continued her training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and The Cambridge Health Alliance, where she completed a General Practice Residency and Advanced Graduate Education. Her residency focused on the multidisciplinary approach to dentistry, emphasizing the need for the oral health provider in the overall healthcare team. Dr. Floyd has experience working with children, medically complex patients, and individuals with special needs.
Dr. Floyd strives for the highest standards as a dental provider and enjoys connecting her patients' smiles to their overall health. She believes that effective and honest communication helps to achieve the best outcomes for her patients. She is passionate about oral healthcare and is excited to be part of the Allegra Dental Center family.
Dr. Floyd is a classically trained ballet dancer and performed professionally as a member of the Alabama Ballet company prior to attending Howard University for her undergraduate degree. She continues to study dance as well as yoga and pilates in her spare time.
Invisalign is a type of orthodontic procedure that uses special aligners to straighten teeth. The aligners are similar to the trays used to whiten teeth, but they're much more streamlined and custom-made for each patients mouth, so they are extremely comfortable to wear. I had my first cleaning with Allegra Dental center. The hygienist didn't seem experienced whatsoever. During the entire visit, water was dripping out of the water pick all over my face and clothing. She did not check for cavities. The doctor did not even come in to check for cavities. The billing office is very persistent and even over charged me, collecting $300 from my insurance policy than they should have. I did not feel valued as a patient during my experience and felt only wanted for my money.

The dental assistants, and the Dentist was nothing but perfection!! I now have a new dental home. First visit went well. Seen within 5 minutes of my arrival and staff called me prior to my appointment. Very thorough dental assessments - who knew dentists had all these toys? Dental hygienist provided excellent walk through of dental cleaning process and frequently inquired about my comfort. Dr. Dickson has a nice bedside manner and also walked through my dental concerns. Received guidance on Invsalign options, but no pressure to purchase. Initial visit was long to accommodate photos and xray, but it was worth it.

Dr. Dickson and her staff are the best at the customer service they provide. Everyone is always so nice and welcoming when i come into the office. As well as the office is always kept nice and clean i love the directions and lil tv's in the room to keep you entertained. Dr. Dickson herself is very gentle with great bedside manners she actually listens to you and recommends her best advice that will suit. She explains everything in detail and is isn't heavy handed when working on your teeth. She's very down to earth as well as the girls that assist her in the back. They all make going to the dentist less scary. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who looking for a new dentist!!

I love Allegra Dental Center. I've been going here since about 2019. I originally found them when looking for a dental office filled with a diverse staff. The staff is always welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. I drive an hour from home to make each appointment and it is always worth it. The customer service is above and beyond. I recommend them to everyone.

This office and the staff are amazing. The Dr. is very calm and reassuring but most importantly she's incredibly competent and skilled. I just had four cavities filled and 45 minutes later I felt almost completely back to normal. Wow.

I have been a patient since September 2020. I live in Upper Marlboro, Maryland and I travel to Virginia to be cared for by Allegra Dental. I also pay out of network cost because the care is receive is Exceptional and it's worth the money. The front office staff is extremely courteous and professional, and all of the Hygienists are smart and highly trained. Dr. Dixon is professional, knowledgeable and detailed about your care. Front the first meeting they make you feel like your family. The personal touch is felt at every call or visit. The office is clean, and beautiful for an extraordinary experience. I highly recommend Dr. Dixon and her staff! Girl power!!!
