We are also dedicated to educating you, our patients, in order to empower you to take a more active role in your own dental care, and we will work with you to teach you the best techniques to care for your teeth at home.
Dr. Chung attended the University of California at San Diego to receive his Bachelors degree in Biology before going to attend the prestigious New York University School of Dentistry. After completing his dental studies in New York City he moved back to San Diego and opened up a private practice to serve the people of San Diego.
Dr. Chung is constantly looking to keep up to date on the ever changing world of dentistry by attending continuing education courses. He likes to attend courses specifically on implant and cosmetic dentistry. He understands that being a great dentist is a lifelong commitment to learning.
When he is not working at the practice, he loves to enjoy time with his family and friends. He and his wife have three young boys who they love to spend time with. They try to enjoy all that San Diego has to offer!
This office is truly as good as it gets. From the moment you walk in the door, you're greeted by a clean, organized, freshly-smelling waiting area. Although, you never have to sit more than a few moments in that space, before Valerie, a wonderful, friendly, personable, assistant whisks you away to your room. They are highly organized and never leave you waiting. Dr. Chung is very gentle and detail-oriented. He takes his time and never makes you feel like you are JUST a customer. Tae makes you feel important because he doesn't rush you out, like other dentists do. I have never been a fan of going to the dentist office, in fact I avoided it for years, until I found Alldent. I am so happy I found a place that I WANT to come back to for my visits.

Dr Chung and his staff are always incredibly friendly and personable. I've been going to Dr Chung for 4 years now and he's one of the best dentists I've been to. He's kind and remembers you (asks about my mom, kids, etc). He doesn't push procedures or make you feel like your teeth are terrible like most dentists do. I'm really happy I found AllDent!

I highly recommend this dental office. I am so sad my insurance no longer has AllDent Dental Center in their network anymore. They're really kind, thorough, and the offices are really clean. 5 stars!

I have been extremely pleased with Dr. Chung's services. I've been getting services from this office for several years now and since day one Dr. Chung and his team had been GREAT. I have extreme angst when going to the dentist and I can say I LOVE how Dr. Chung takes such care of his patients. I feel confident that I can say my husband feels the same way. Would highly recommend his services.

Friendly staff with attentive care. I had several issues from previous dental work done on my right molars while living in Texas. Came to California for relocation, and was recommended to Dr. Chung. He has fixed years of pain on my right molars, as well as aesthetics of my teeth. Thank you!

I have been looking for a new dentist and Dr. Chung came highly recommended. I had my first appointment and he was thorough, gentle, and kind. He explained what he was doing and then we discussed what needed to be done in the future. I have terrible teeth and he never made me feel embarrassed. Joyce is at the front desk and is funny and kind. I'm so happy I have found a great dental office and am hopeful I can get my dental health under wraps.

I've seen Dr. Chung for over 5 years, and would never switch dentists. His entire staff have the gentlest (and tiniest) hands ever, there are never any sneaky upsell tactics, and the clinic always runs smoothly and on time. I used to have a fear of going to the dentist, but it's actually decreased over the years due to the consistent good experiences at this dental practice.

Update: 08/18/2022 It's been 2 years. I am always happy to be back here. I was thinking about how stressed out I would get before I found Dr. Chan and his staff. Now I feel relaxed happy and not worried on bit. I know I can trust the Dr. Completely with my Dental care. I came in today for a filling. Didn't feel any pain even when he nummed me up. He is very gentle,. As are his assistants. Dr. Chan and his staff are very communicative, and friendly. I always leave this office feeling well cared for. Always true to their appointment times. Always! I've never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen. Office, equiptment, entire facility is always clean and sanatized. Thank you Dr. Chan and to your staff for always taking great care of me.! I wish I could give more stars than 5. I drive from Chula Vista each time I come to see Dr. Chung, and his amazing staff. I will say that is worth the drive every single time! Now my Mom is coming to see him as well. If you're in his area you are blessed and definitely should be going to him! I often am asked why I choose to come so far to the dentist. My answer is always the same. First and foremost-->> Ethical Dentist, Quality Work, Amazing Staff, Impeccably Clean Office. This is big for myself. I have had a very traumatic experience with other dentist, that did not do the right thing. So trusting anyone to work on my teeth was hard for me. With Dr. Chung and his staff, I am not a number. I am a human being with emotions and feelings. They really care about you and your needs!!!! I was referred to Dr. Chung by my Endodontist, Dr. Kenny Tran across the way. (((((I'm not kidding, HE IS PHENOMENAL! HE SAVED MY TEETH! A very Ethical superb, top notch Endodontist! He knows what he is doing!!!!))))) Dr. Tran only works with Dentist he trust. I can see why he works with Dr.Chung. With that being said, I am very happy I have had the privilege to have been worked on by Dr. Chung and His staff. He put in a beautiful strong bridge for my teeth that I thought I was going to lose. I can eat again with no pain. I can smile again and not feel shame. I can come to his office and not worry or feel scared something is going to go wrong. His work is clean and on point. This Dentist knows what he is doing! Every time I sit in Dr. Chung's office I feel like he listens to everything I say. He is genuine and he asks you if you have any questions or concerns. Not only that but he remembers what you talked about with him on your last visit. He makes the connection that not many Doctors make anymore. I just left the office again. I had an exam and cleaning. I'm amazed at the work done. I wasn't numbed. They were gentle and took time to clean my teeth. First time ever I enjoyed a cleaning at the Dentist! I'm excited to return to his office to have other work done. Also just so you know their appointment times are actually accurate. I've never had to wait to be seen. I have been seen at the exact time my appointment is scheduled for. I'm blessed, and beyond thankful for Dr. Chung and his staff. Thankful he took me in as his patient on an emergency. I went through a lot of pain because of a negligent unethical Dentist, and it led me to find two phenomenal people. I'm very happy that I was referred to Dr. Tran and Dr. Chung.... Because I found two amazing people that do amazing work. I hope they know how grateful I am. 5 Stars doesn't begin to cover it. They are Golden in my book!

Excellent experience! Had sharp tooth pain and was able to get in fast and received an honest evaluation. The practice runs smoothly, staff were friendly, and Dr. Chung couldn't have been better. Happy to have found this office.
