The practice was established by Dr. Leslie Broline over thirty years ago in the heart of Austin and is well known for quality periodontal therapy and dental implant treatment. In 2000, Dr. Broline introduced Microsurgical Periodontics to the dental community of Austin, where the highly specialized techniques have become a standard for aesthetic periodontal and dental implant treatment. Dr. Nicholas Allan recently purchased the practice, continuing the long-standing tradition of excellence in patient care.
The doctors and team have witnessed the benefits of microsurgery for patients, including improved healing following treatment and superior aesthetic results. Both doctors utilize the microscope and microsurgical instruments during surgical procedures, which provides a higher level of precision and accuracy with periodontal therapy and the placement of dental implants and bone grafts than conventional surgery.
Dr. Nicholas Allan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He graduated with a BS in Biology from Boston College and received his DMD from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. He completed his specialty training in Periodontics at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where he also received a Masters of Science in Dentistry.
While pursuing his residency training in Louisville, Dr. Allan completed a rigorous clinical research project on bone grafting for dental implant placement. He is furthering his education with advanced training in microsurgery, working with one of the nations leading experts in this field.
