Dr. Wes Allai graduated from College High in Pittsburg, Kansas and Frontenac High in Frontenac, Kansas. In 1975, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry. He attended Indiana University/Purdue University at Indianapolis in 1982 and holds a Master of Science Degree in Orthodontics.

Together with his wife and 4 daughters, Dr. Allai stays busy raising cattle, horses and bird dogs. He loves to fish and enjoys hunting for turkey, quail and pheasant. His love of sports included boxing, football and minor league baseball (Springfield Cardinals).

CATHY is a native of Springfield. She attended Glendale High School and Missouri State University. She has been in the orthodontic industry for 36 years and has her Basic Skills Mastery Certification in Dental Assisting and is also Board Certified with the Dental Assisting National Board. Cathy has been with Dr. Allai for thirty years. She says I could not imagine working anywhere else. The people in this office have become my second family. Over the years Dr. Allai has gone above and beyond for both his patients and his employees. The way he cares shows me I truly have someone on my side. During her time with Dr. Allai she has enjoyed seeing generations of families with beautiful smiles that we have sent out our doors. Two of those beautiful smiles have been her children, Megan and Matthew. Dr. Allai has given them smiles and confidence that they can share with the world. For that, I will always be grateful.

JENNIFER has lived in Springfield most of her life and attended Kickapoo High School and Missouri State University. She has worked for Dr. Allai for fifteen years and she says that The most rewarding part of this job is watching the patients grow. We treat families here. One child starts in braces and when they finish we start the next younger sibling and so on. We become part of their family. Jennifer says that Dr. Allai is very gentle and caring with all of the patients. Jennifer has worked as a chairside assistant for many years and the last three years has worked in the front office setting up treatment plans for new patients and filing insurance for new and current patients. Jennifer has her Basic Skills Mastery Certification in Dental Assisting as well as her Expanded Functions certification in orthodontics and is CPR certified. Jennifer and her husband enjoy spending time relaxing at the lake, taking care of their pets and reading.

BETTY JO was born in Springfield and grew up in Strafford Missouri. She began working for Dr. Allai in 2012 and has greatly enjoyed her time. She is one of the front office assistants and enjoys her time helping patients and their families. Betty Jo says Working with Dr. Allai and the team is a great joy. The entire team is very supportive and its an amazing place to get to come to work every day. When not at work Betty Jo loves spending time with her little girl and husband. They especially enjoy swimming, going to the movies, and taking walks at the park.

LISA has been in the dentistry field since 1988. She is certified through the Dental Assisting National Board. Lisa says My greatest reward from having a career in orthodontics is watching the patients confidence grow as they progress through treatment. I enjoy seeing those beautiful smiles at the end of their treatment. I absolutely love how Dr. Allai genuinely cares and takes time for each and every patient. He has such a positive attitude and always wants what is best for the patient. In addition to her full time position with Dr. Allai, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys running, hiking and pretty much any outdoor sport.

DANIELLE grew up in Gainesville and moved to Springfield after graduating high school. She has worked for Dr. Allai for 3 years and says that Dr. Allai makes the office a fun atmosphere and cares for all of his patients. She loves getting to compare before and after pictures with patients to see how much their smile has changed. Danielle is a Registered Dental Assistant & has her Basic Skills Mastery certification. Danielle and her husband have one daughter. They love doing outdoor activities, playing with their dogs and going on adventures.

MELANIE has over 27 years of medical/dental experience. She joined Dr. Allais staff in 2004. In 2007 she was recalled to active duty in support of Operation Enduring freedom. After three consecutive deployments she was able to retire from the United States Navy and rejoin Dr. Allai. Melanie has a bachelors degree in business administration. She is a certified orthodontic assistant, certified general dentistry assistant, certified in expanded functions, dental radiology and basic skills for the state of Missouri. She says There is no other place I would ever want to work. Dr. Allai is one of the most patient and kind men I know. I love assisting Dr. Allai and making awesome smiles.

BETSY has been happily working in the orthodontic field since 1996. She loves seeing the smiles of our patients change into a straight, beautiful smile! She also enjoys making friends with the patients and parents and making them feel as comfortable as possible. I love our happy, friendly atmosphere of Dr. Allai and everyone in the office. Betsy was born and raised in Springfield Missouri. Betsy enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, being outdoors and shopping. Betsy is certified in expanded function orthodontics, certified orthodontic assistant and has her basic skills mastery in dental assisting. She says Dr. Allai is such a passionate doctor. He loves his patients and thoughtfully considers each ones needs. She loves working with Dr. Allai to see each patient achieve a beautiful smile.

SANDY started working for Dr. Allai years ago in the lab she later was moved to the front desk and as an assistant as well. Sandy says I love the flexibility that I have had working for Dr. Allai and all the different areas that I have been trained in. It is nice to work in an environment that is positive, supportive and caring of the patients and to have a doctor who truly cares for his patients. Sandy has been married for twenty five years and has two daughters. In her free time she enjoys working out with her family, reading and going to the movies. Sandy graduated from the Dental Assisting program at OTC in 2007 with her Expanded Functions in orthodontics certification.

AMANDAhas worked for Dr. Allai since 2012 and she says This office has become my second home. I love getting to know the patients and their families. Dr. Allai and his family make you feel welcome and make it fun to come to work, smiles all around! In her free time Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and being outside with her dogs, horses and cows.

ERICKA is originally from Baton Rouge Louisiana. Ericka and her husband have been together for twenty years and they have two daughters. Ericka and her family love to travel and spend time at the lake. Ericka has been an orthodontic assistant for 16 years. Ericka has her basic skills mastery and expanded functions certifications. She really enjoys having a personal relationship with each patient. She says I love working with Dr. Allai, he is such a caring and patient man!
