Dr. Desman is excited to return to his home state of Florida and join the team at All Smiles! His passion for orthodontics began in 2004 when he became a patient. By the end of his treatment, he could not believe how his new smile positively influenced his self-confidence. From that point forward, it has been Dr. Desmans dream to provide a similarly uplifting experience for others.
Originally from South Florida, Dr. Desman graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors from the University of Miami. He then traveled north to continue his education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and earned a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD). Finally, he completed his orthodontic training at The Ohio State University and obtained a Master of Science (MS) in dentistry.
Dr. Desman has a wonderful wife, Molly, whom he met in dental school. Together, they enjoy watching sports, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. Some of Dr. Desmans personal hobbies include playing golf, tennis, and snowboarding. The Desmans look forward to making the Tampa Bay area their new home!

There was a problem with my retainer, and when I expressed my frustration/disappointment, the staff promptly addressed the issue. I left my appointment feeling heard and understood. I have deep gratitude and a renewed faith in our society. Thank you to all at the Largo office!

If I could rate All smiles over 5 stars I would. Every member of their New port richey team is just amazing from reception to each tech individually. Elliot and Jeanette helped assist me with my last visit and I truly appreciate their time and professionalism.

I had a wire behind my front top few teeth and I could tell and feel with my tongue that it broke in half and was sticking out. It was uncomfortable for a day and a half. I needed a orthodontist right away before the end of the day it was an emergency! My initial dentist is Bright Now at the largo mall but they don't technically have an orthodontist there at all, the office is very deceiving. I googled orthodontist in the area and I read great reviews for All Smiles Orthodontist in Largo, on Brian Dairy road nearby me, so I called right away. Katlin answered my frantic phone call looking for an orthodontist who could see me, she looked up where orthodontist was today and it was at the Seminole location and booked my appointment over the phone for 4:30 in the afternoon. I just had to Google map how to get there because I didn't know the area. I'm so grateful for Katlin just for answering my prayers, being so kind and patient with me. Thank you for reaching out for a new patient in the area to go out of your way to feel more at ease knowing there is always good people in this world.

I went to All Smiles Largo location to visit Dr. McDowell and his team for an assessment of my smile to see if Invisalign treatment would be able to correct some issues I have. As soon as I walked in the door I was welcomed by the receptionist, Anthony who was very friendly and had me fill out some paper work before I was taken to the back to have x-rays and photos taken. After that I discussed what could be done about my smile and payment plans with Mary, who was also great, helpful, and very friendly. Dr. McDowell took some time to assess my smile and told me that we should be able to correct the issues with relative ease. The experience was all around great and I would highly recommend this office and team to anyone looking for orthodontic work done regardless of your age. I had never been to an orthodontist before and the whole staff was very welcoming and was in a good mood which creates a nice atmosphere and the office seemed very clean and covid safe as well.

They are so nice! I literally love this place. They are thorough with their job and I honestly get excited every time I have an appointment. Going to the dentist and anywhere for dental care was hard when I was younger and even when I grew up. Coming here got rid of some of the concerns.

Everything was great until COVID hit and I couldn't make my monthly payment. They dismissed my son from the practice. When I called to try to work out an arrangement they wanted hundreds of dollars to "reinstate" our payment plan. In these trying times, you would think they'd have a little compassion and work with people a little... nope, their only concern is the money.

At the evaluation appt it was as if the doctor wanted to argue rather than look at past photos, her treatment plan, and utilize his professional opinion on the progress of the plan. I'm not an orthodontist and can't recommend what he should do. I don't even know what options he has to make the treatment plan happen. For the cost and what has been done, I am not impressed. Don't say something can be done when deciding on a treatment plan and cost, if the teeth are the way they are due to being worn down or due to the shape of the teeth. The staff are friendly, however when I signed in with my daughter I was told to wait in the car when I was supposed to be there for the eval. Maybe they could note that on the appt.
