Dr. Steven Schwartz grew up in Port Washington, L.I. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors degree in biology from SUNY Buffalo, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from SUNY at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and completed his dental residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Schwartz received his orthodontic training as a Research Fellow in Orthodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he earned a Masters in Medical Science and his Certificate in Orthodontics from Harvard University. He recently completed a twenty-eight year career as a lecturer and clinical instructor as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry at SUNY at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Schwartz cares passionately about providing the most caring and up-to-date treatment. He continually attends educational programs involving the latest techniques in digital and conventional orthodontics.
Dr. Kimberly Bui grew up in sunny Southern California, before moving to New York City. She completed both her B.S. and her D.D.S. degrees at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Wanting to experience the city life, Dr. Bui moved to New York upon graduation to participate in the residency program for orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Montefiore Medical Center. During her three years at this program, she was trained in all aspects of orthodontics including traditional metal and ceramic braces, clear aligner therapy such as Invisalign, surgical orthodontics, treatment of patients with craniofacial anomalies, and temporary anchorage devices (TADS).
Dr. Bui currently lives in Manhattan but enjoys traveling to Long Island to work with the patients that reside there. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, traveling, learning about different cultures, and supporting the arts in NYC. She looks forward to meeting all of you and participating in your journey towards a beautiful smile!
Dr. Joshua Rothenberg graduated from Binghamton University. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and orthodontic training from New York University. Dr. Rothenberg is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Rothenberg is dedicated to maintaining a reputation of excellence in orthodontics and maxillofacial orthopedics and stays current in all the latest techniques. He has lectured on orthodontics and Invisalign. Dr. Rothenberg will also soon be joining the staff at Mather-St Charles Hospital, in the dental department.
Dr. Matthew Miller joined the North Fork Orthodontics team in 2016. Originally from East Setauket, he attended Gelinas JHS and Ward Melville HS. Before completing 3 years of orthodontic specialty training at NYU, he attended Boston College, NYU College of Dentistry, and completed a General Practice Residency at Stony Brook University. At NYUCD, Dr. Miller graduated in the top 5% of his class and was invited into the OKU honor society. He has multiple publications on the History and Prevention of White Spots in orthodontics and has been trained in the most up-to-date technology in the field of orthodontics.

Very accommodating!! Rita at the front desk in a super helpful and knowledgeable. She was able to put my daughter at ease and answer and help with all financial questions. I would definitely recommend this place.

All the staffs in this office are wonderful. Giovanna and Rita are the first one that you see when you enter this beautiful office. They are friendly and professional. They always welcome you with a beautiful smile. Dr. Sheehy is amazing. He did my husband and his sister braces when they were kids. He did such of excellent job that my husband and I decided to bring our kids as well. He performed an excellent job on my daughter's teeth. Now, Dr. Sheehy and Dr. Scherr, are working on my son teeth and so far it's starting to look so much better. I highly recommend this orthodontist. We had a blast at the comic book week! We drank, ate and took a lot of pictures. I can't wait to see what other activities Rita and Giovanna are going to have for us.

My son has been with Dr. Schwartz for his orthodontic treatment for almost three years. Dr. Schwartz has been a professional and caring doctor during the whole treatment period. His office staffs are polite, kind and professional as well. It has been a pleasant experience for my son and myself. We moved to California last year and Dr. Schwartz was kind enough to spend his time and use his connection to find us an orthodontist in our new location. My son flew to New York this week to have his bracelet removed. Dr. Schwartz made arrangements to have my son's retainer made in a rush order and checked on the retainer the next business day to make sure that the retainer fit well before my son leaves New York. Thank you Dr. Schwartz!!!

We recently saw Dr. Schwartz after reopening from the pandemic. We were so impressed with his attention to the health and safety of his patients. One patient was seen at a time, my son's temperature was taken, sanitizer and masks were provided, and the office was immaculate. We have been a patient for many years, and would highly recommend This practice.

I researched doctors and procedures thoroughly before picking Dr Schwartz. My three children needed braces all at once so choosing the right doctor needed to be spot on. Dr Schwartz explained all details and procedures and answered all of my questions. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly! All my kids like him which is so important. I just completed Invisalign treatment with Dr. Schwartz. He took the time to explain everything to me, including showing me a computer rendering of what the final result would look like! I am delighted with the finished product. The staff was friendly and accommodating with working with my schedule. Although there are many options for where to receive Invisalign treatment, I am glad I decided on Dr. Schwartz's office. They go the extra mile with every step of the process, from initial consultation to final retainers.
