Dr. Desman is excited to return to his home state of Florida and join the team at All Smiles! His passion for orthodontics began in 2004 when he became a patient. By the end of his treatment, he could not believe how his new smile positively influenced his self-confidence. From that point forward, it has been Dr. Desmans dream to provide a similarly uplifting experience for others.
Originally from South Florida, Dr. Desman graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors from the University of Miami. He then traveled north to continue his education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and earned a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD). Finally, he completed his orthodontic training at The Ohio State University and obtained a Master of Science (MS) in dentistry.
Dr. Desman has a wonderful wife, Molly, whom he met in dental school. Together, they enjoy watching sports, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. Some of Dr. Desmans personal hobbies include playing golf, tennis, and snowboarding. The Desmans look forward to making the Tampa Bay area their new home!

I worked with All Smiles for about a year and a half through my Invisalign journey. The office is always a clean and friendly envrionment. Everyone I talked to, whether in the back or front, made me feel taken care of. I never questioned my decision to go with All Smiles and, most importantly, my teeth turned out great! Would definitely recommend :)

Having had braces as a teenager and having the crowding issue continue into adulthood caused my teeth to somewhat revert. I decided to seek treatment again and opted to have braces put back on. Being new to Florida I was unsure of who to trust and took a leap of faith with All Smiles Orthodontics. The entire process was flawless. When I arrived for my late afternoon appointment, the office was packed full and I was expecting a long wait time thinking they were running behind. Boy was I surprised! This office and it's staff could give lessons to the DMV on how to streamline their processes and wait times. From checking in, x-rays & scans/photos, insurance processing and financing, consultation with the Dr. and even getting my brackets on SAME DAY was flawless and I was in & out in less than 2 hours. Everything kept moving to get all patients in and out of their appointments in a timely fashion. All of the staff were happy to be at their job and so helpful. I was very impressed from what I remember the process being as a teenager. 2 thumbs up to Dr. McDowell and his staff!

WHAT CAN I SAY!!! THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF MY BEST EXPERIENCES AS FAR AS STRAIGHTER TEETH GOES. DR MCDOWELL GOES OVER AND BEYOND FOR HIS PATIENTS. HE WONT STOP UNTIL YOU'RE SATISFIED. THE STAFF ARE "A" PLUS, FROM THE MOMENT YOU WALK THROUGH THE DOOR YOU'RE TREATED LIKE ROYALTY. I TRAVEL 2 HOURS FROM ORLANDO TO CLEARWATER BECAUSE I WOULDN'T TRUST ANYONE ELSE I'VE BEEN A PATIENT FROM 2018 & FINISHED MY TREATMENT TODAY MY TEETH ARE NOW PERFECTLY STRAIGHT, THEY WERE A COMPLETE MESS WHEN I STARTED TREATMENT. Dr. McDowell is an Angel! He is kind, caring, and wonderful! Dr. McDowell staff makes you feel welcomed and comfortable from the front desk to the assistant. Honey, assisted with my appointment today and it was a great experience. Wonderful conversation and she handled me with care. Very attentive. I recommend All Smiles Orthopedics to everyone. You will be totally satisfied!

The best orthodontists and team in Tampa Bay! Dr. McDowell cares greatly about the health and appearance of your teeth. He and his team went above measures to make sure I was satisfied with my invisalign treatment! His office is not like these other providers always looking to get more money out of you. Scheduling is always convenient and customer service always on point.
