Our office is geared to be kids friendly from the waiting room to the pediatric dental instruments. We offer the latest in digital and sterilization technologies. Additionally, we use advanced tools in administering anesthesia to be virtually pain free as well using sedation dentistry such as laughing gas (nitrous oxide).
Our office is digital from the charts to X-rays. We utilize the latest X-ray technology which reduces the amount of radiation exposure by 90% or less. Our X-ray film size is smaller and comfortable for your child. With digital technology, there is no need for chemicals. Our office is paperless which helps the environment. We have set up a computer kiosk to sign in and fill any paper work. You can also fill out these forms online. We use the state-of-the-art sterilization technology to disinfect and clean every instrument. Your room is also sanitized before being used. During treatment your child can watch movies and afterwards get prizes and toys. The staff is caring and experienced and each treatment plan is tailored to your childs need. Dr. Amit Goyal grew up in the East Bay and completed two additional years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry from Temple Childrens Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Goyal was accepted in specialty training in 2001 and completed in 2003. While at Childrens Hospital, his training was diverse and included orthodontics, special needs, hospital and sedation dentistry, and teaching.
Dr. Goyal was on staff at leading hospitals performing full oral rehabilitation, and works with anesthesiologists in providing dental care for children. He is a member of the local Contra Costa Dental Society, American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Goyal enjoys tennis and basketball, volunteering, and traveling. He was a collegiate champion in tennis, and has volunteered in India. As for traveling, he has visited Costa Rica, Hawaii, Europe, and Asia. Dr. Goyal is married with two children.
We will bill your dental insurance on your behalf as a courtesy to you. As there are many dental health plans in the market, we encourage that you familiarize yourself with your insurance benefits. For example, some plans will cover a percentage of white fillings while others will do not. At the time of service, please be prepared to make your co-payment. We will provide you with an estimate; however, any balance that remains after your insurance has paid will be your responsibility. We will make every attempt to collect the payment from the insurance; however, any balance after 40 days from the date of service will be your responsibility.
