To many, a dental office is one of the scariest and most vulnerable places to be. At the same time, a warm, attractive, and healthy smile is one of the greatest expressions of being human. My staff and I believe our purpose is to bridge the gap between fear of the dentist and the reward of having a wonderful smile. We listen carefully to our patients, come to understand their fears, wants, and needs, and with their input, we create a smile that they are proud of!

In addition, it seems the way healthcare is delivered today is more impersonal than ever. At our office, we take the time to cultivate very personal relationships. As a result, those that come here are far more than just patients, they are family. Technical skill and technology, when delivered with compassion and transparency, results in a genuine relationship rooted in trust. It is important to note that we do this not because it is good business, but because it is simply the right thing to do.

This is also a good opportunity to express the deep gratitude for, and the profound trust and reliance I have on my co-workers. They treat each other and every one of our patients with a depth of sincerity and compassion that it is humbling. They are my role models and my best friends.

I have been providing general dental services and orthodontics in the Mason/West Chester area since 1987. Its hard for me to believe this time has passed so quickly! I believe one reason it has sped by is because of the special people who live nearby; they make coming to work every day an absolute blessing! The decency and warmth that I encounter with my patients (and staff) every day is both humbling and inspiring. It is genuinely a privilege to provide dental care to my community and a joy to make such wonderful friends each day.

I was born in Detroit, Michigan but grew up on the West side of Cincinnati. I have lived in Mason since 1989. My wife of many years is Victoria, and we have five children, Paul, John, Caroline, Yodeet, and Kaleb. I am a homebody at heart, so I find joy simply be being with my family. We especially treasure outdoor activities, including camping, boating, fishing, sports, and just tinkering in the yard. Oh, and we have two dogs, six cats (!), a ball python, and a bearded dragon. Quite the zoo in all!

My primary functions are to gather important information for Dr. Nymberg, to educate our patients on their dental health, and to help keep your teeth and gums clean. But know at the same time, we all share the same passion for our patients. You are much more than a set of teeth to us. Our greatest goal is to ensure that we never get too focused on just the teeth, but rather to never lose sight of what really mattersthe person. All Smiles feels more like family than just a workplace as a result. This is what definitely sets us apartthe best part of our job is YOU!

I have a wonderful husband, Samuel. We have two dogs that we dearly love, and we are excited to welcome our first child in July 2016. I love spending time outdoors, gardening, crocheting, sewing, making soap (!), and reading.

Welcome to All Smiles! I am the orthodontic assistant for our wonderful office. I have been in orthodontics since 2004, and with Dr. Nymberg since 2015. Providing braces through a general practice office gives us a unique and valuable opportunity to manage the health of the gums and teeth throughout the orthodontic process. Our patients feel confident knowing that we can keep track of all phases of their oral health. Besides, it is incredibly convenient to do it all in one office!

Dr. Nymberg, my co-workers, and I really have created a family-like environment here. We are never short on laughter and sharing. We have a very special group care deeply about our patients, as well as each other. That is a rare and special thing to find in health care these days.

Hi and welcome to our special practice! As a hygienist here since 1999, I provide cleanings, radiographs, oral cancer screenings, and oral hygiene instruction. Hi, I am the insurance and financial coordinator for our wonderful practice! I genuinely love helping people get the most from their insurance and creating financial plans that work for their budgets. It may sound peculiar, but it really is a fun and gratifying game for me! I believe nobody should go without needed dental care, and I help make sure that doesn't happen. I genuinely enjoy working hard to make sure our patients receive the best possible value. I've been at All Smiles since 1999, so you might say that I've gotten pretty good at it.

The most satisfying aspect of working here is the relationships, both with our patients and between co-workers. It's one thing to be good at what you do, but it's another to be good to others while you're doing itthat's who we are. We really have the best team ever!

Welcome to the practice! I am an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA). As an EFDA, I am licensed to place fillings, take X-rays, adjust bites, and perform a variety of other functions. I have been in the field since 1997 and with Dr. Nymberg since 2006. We are very detailed and precise in our work here, so I've always valued the constant challenge to exceed expectations.

Hello! I've been a hygienist at Dr. Nymberg's since 1995. So, in a staff full of long time employees, I hold the ranking for the longest tenure at All Smiles, and still going strong! As with the other hygienists, I provide cleanings, radiographs, oral cancer screenings, and oral hygiene instruction.

I love working in such a fun practice! We all laugh a lot and love making our patients feel at ease and happy. Through all the years here, I have discovered that being honest and compassionate with our patients, and with co-workers, is what is most important to me. Nothing tops real relationships. That, coupled with the best technical care available, makes me proud to work here, and makes our patients very happy.

Now that we are empty nesters, my husband Doug and I are enjoying the next phase of life, spending time with each other and our silly dog. We also enjoy travel and going to the gymit keeps us healthy and sane.

I think you will love the way we treat every person that comes through our dooryou included. I believe our genuine care for every one of our patients, as well as each other, is the difference between ours and other offices.

I perform all the root canals in Dr. Nymberg's office. This unique service allows his patients to receive this treatment in a familiar, friendly environment. Also, because I limit my work to performing root canals, Dr. Nymberg's patients are assured of receiving the best possible outcome.

I am committed to providing this service in the most caring, gentle manner possible. Consequently, a root canal done here is not a process to be feared. My profession isn't one that most people can see. They can't admire the dental surgery we perform on their teeth, but they do know that they came in with pain and they leave feeling better. I help patients to keep teeth that they might otherwise have extracted. It makes me very happy to be able to improve their quality of life.

Ive been practicing dentistry for more than 24 years and still love it. Patty is my dental assistant, and she has worked with me for 15 years. She is a wonderful asset to our practice, and our patients love her friendly and outgoing demeanor.

I love that every root canal is totally different and presents a unique challenge. But the best part of my job is simply getting to know our patients on an individual basis. The more I know about them and their lifestyle, the better I can understand their oral health and how to improve it. Our highest priority here is helping people live healthy, happy lives!

I grew up in Columbus, and love being a part of the community in Morrow. My wife Jill and I have two daughters named Danielle and Jolie, and one beautiful granddaughter, Olivia. At home, we have many pets, including llamas, geese, peahen, seven dogs, and a cat!

These days, Jill and I spend all of our free time with our family and at our farm. I am also a former Rotary Club President and a member of the Optimist Club and the Tipp City Mum Festival Committee Chairman. When I have free time, I enjoy traveling the world with my wife.

Dont you find that our world gets more impersonal as the years go by? It seems wherever you go you are increasingly treated more abruptly and without concern for who you are as person. Dr. Nymberg and his staff still subscribe to the notion that trust and comfort come from personal relationships. Relationships are built on open conversation and active listening.

Dr. Nymberg makes a point to personally call every patient after treatment to check on their comfort and to ensure a successful outcome. He also offers his cell and home phone, so help is just a call away.

It may also comfort you to know that our staff has worked together an average of more than ten years! That may give you a hint about the friendliness of our work environment and the experience of our crew.

Are you nervous going to the dentist? Dumb question, but it raises a very important topicthe nearly universal fear of going to the dentist. The issue is often swept under the rug in the dental field. Our approach is to acknowledge this reality and take it head on. How? First, we carefully cultivate genuine relationships with each of our patientswe know them, they know usbefore proceeding with treatment. There is greater comfort working with someone you know and trust.

It can be confusing and a bit unsettling to have to rely on multiple offices for care in our world of specialists. At Dr. Nymberg's office, we are able to provide the entire family nearly everything they'll need under one roofbraces and root canals included. We even have a wonderful kids' area with Wii, books, and puzzlesthey'll love it! It's comforting to know that you can receive most of your care in one trusted, familiar place. In our hurried lives, convenience is king.

The economy in recent years has made us all a lot more cost conscious, which is a good thing. Because we consider our primary mission to be one of service, we are less interested in maximizing profits. Therefore, we deliberately set our fees at or below industry norms. Our intent is to allow access to the very best care available to the largest number of people. We believe we provide a terrific value while never compromising our high standards.

Advances in healthcare are progressing at an astonishing rate. These advances are designed to provide more accurate diagnoses, a safer patient experience, and greater convenience. Dr. Nymberg has kept pace with these advances through the addition of leading edge technology:

  • How many of us are long in the tooth with receded gums that are unsightly and result in cold sensitivity on the root? Most adults can probably relate to this phenomenon. This condition has traditionally been treated with gum graftinga painful procedure which relies on removing tissue from elsewhere in the mouth and suturing it over the exposed root. Recovery is prolonged and painful, and the results are less than ideal. As a result, most dentists and patients just ignore the condition, which then worsens over time. Dr. Nymberg is certified in the latest Pinhole Surgical Techniqueno scalpels, no gum grafting, no suturing! The results are nearly immediate and lasting.
  • The Diagnodent laser cavity detector, approved by the FDA and the American Dental Association, is currently the most accurate method of detecting cavities in the grooves of non-filled teeth. It safely and quickly measures for the presence of a cavity in its earliest stages. It greatly minimizes the possibility of improper diagnosis inherent in other methods, so the doctor and patient can be supremely confident in the information it provides. Consequently, a tooth can be filled more conservatively and with greater confidence when using this technology.
  • Who isnt concerned with over-exposure from X-rays in a healthcare setting? Dr. Nymberg is sensitive to this concern and insists on only taking X-rays when necessary, and then using digital X-rays to use least amount of X-ray radiation possible. Digital X-rays take advantage of special sensors that require minimal amounts of exposure. The images are available immediately, require no hazardous developing chemicals, and are neatly stored in the patients computer file. He also uses X-ray units that produce low amounts of rays with minimal scatter, so every patient can feel confident that exposure is at the lowest possible levels. As a precautionary measure, we also use lead shields with thyroid collars for an added layer of confidence.
  • In addition, each room is equipped with an intraoral camera. Live images of patients teeth are captured and stored in their digital file. The patient can then be shown conditions that exist in their mouth as the dentist sees them, so they can more easily understand Dr. Nymbergs recommandations. Computer-generated graphics are used to show what each procedure looks like so that you can have a much clearer understanding of treatment suggestions. There is now no reason for confusion or doubt when it comes to understanding and discussing treatment recommendations.
