I wanted to try out All Smiles Family Dental because it was close and looked like it was not a chain which I generally prefer. I just needed a routine cleaning so I thought it would be fine. My hygienist seemed very rushed and after she left I could feel plaque still on my teeth. I also had a lot of water and fluoride splatter onto my face because she was not very careful. When the dentist came in to look them over I asked her to check if they were clean and she did some touch up. When I left I could still feel plaque. The next day I also started feeling a lot of sensitivity on my front teeth where they had both done their work. I've always had 6 month cleanings so I'm no stranger to the process and this was definitely my worst one so far. I told my wife to cancel her afternoon appointment and schedule one somewhere else.

This review is based on several visits my overall impression. I started going to Dr. Pallam about 4 years ago when she opened her practice in Palatine. The lobby is clean and always well-maintained, which is great. I have had mediocre interactions with the staff: no "hi welcome in" or "hi we will be right with you". Most of the time, the staff is behind the scenes. I usually arrive 10-15 minutes early to my appointments, but I do not get seen until 30-45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. When I finally get seated, I usually have x-rays done. Once x-rays are done, I wait another 15-20 minutes before I am seen by the doctor. Dr. Pallam is very nice, but I personally like when my dentist tells me what's going on in my mouth (ex: how many cavities I have, line of treatment, payment options, etc). On top of that, I never feel like she does a complete/thorough job. Most of my fillings that she has done have cracked and needed to be redone. Many of them are not smoothed or cleaned up before I leave. When she completes her work, she says goodbye and just leaves the room along with her assistant. I am left to take off my own smock that prevents you from getting water and dust all over you during treatment, which makes me feel very uncomfortable. I typically leave within 1.5-2 hours of initial appointment time. I come back to Dr. Pallam because she is one of the few dentists near me that take my insurance, but I am not impressed with her work.

Horrible experience here. I was very excited to finally get my Invisalign treatment and they messed up my teeth! They left my teeth worse than before and they didn't even give me half of my refund. Inexperienced dentist. I worked hard to pay for a terrible job done on my Invisalign. Please go anywhere else, but here. They don't take your money or time seriously. No respect.

If you are having root canals done and she is giving you the option to either go to a specialist or for her to do it. JUST GO TO A ROOT CANAL SPECIALIST, ENDODONTIST. You wont have to pay double and continue to experience pain.

As for Dr Pallam I wish I could clone her. All of her office staff are amazing!!! They're very friendly, professional and reasonably priced on procedures not covered by the insurance. I highly recommend All Smiles Dental (especially Dr Pallam).

BEWARE! I had a bad experience at this location once and I tried to give them another chance and they are horrible! She was claiming insurance doesn't accept deep cleaning only regular cleaning which is false. Then she refused to even do the cleaning that is "covered" then she got up and walked away because I was refusing to pay for something my insurance covers. They also pay the patients to write them Good reviews. Beware of this place! She is so money hungry and if you don't believe me go see for yourself! Also tried to tell me I don't have and cavities when I do just so she can get money out of me.

I had a great experience at All smiles family dental at Palatine, IL. I had couple visits on my dental work during this year. Each of my dental work done very carefully and effectively. I was very nervous about dental work for remove old chipped-off crown to replacement of new and RCT. I feel a pleasant experience from start to finish. Dr. S. Pallam did a great job! She is experienced, professional and friendly. She explained everything along the way of dental work and make sure I stayed comfortable. Her office having good staff, her Hygienist/assistant also having good experience and dose my dental clean-up systematic cleaning and explanation. If you need dental work done or are looking for a new dentist in general I recommend "All smiles family dental at Palatine, IL

Wonderful experience! Dr. Pallam is amazing!! Professional and super friendly staff, very helpful in scheduling and rescheduling appointments as needed. Dr. Pallam thoroughly explains every step of the treatment process and goes out of her way to ensure a virtually pain free experience. Will never go to another dentist! So glad I found All Smiles!
