Catherine Mentesana, DDS is a cosmetic and implant dentist bringing more than a decade of oral health care experience to All Smiles Dentistry to serve adults and teens living in and around Allen, Texas, and throughout Collin County. Dr. Mentesana was born and raised in Mesquite, Texas, and graduated from Poteet High School. She began her professional education at the University of Texas Arlington where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology.
During her time in Arlington, Dr. Mentesana was a member of the Medical Dental Preparatory Association and the Tri Delta womens sorority. Following graduation, Dr. Mentesana enrolled at the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Before entering private practice, she completed a fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and received certification through Allergan to administer therapeutic injections for TMJ.
When Dr. Mentesana isnt meeting with patients or developing custom treatment plans, she enjoys spending time with her husband, James, and their daughters. In her free time, Dr. Mentesana likes to read, spend time at the lake, and sunbathe with friends. She welcomes anyone seeking improved oral health to All Smiles Dentistry today.
Sidney got her Dental Hygiene degree from Texas Womens University. She has been practicing Dental Hygiene for 3 years. She takes pride in treating, educating, and improving the overall dental health of her patients. Outside of dentistry, her favorite things are family, watching movies, traveling the world and learning about different cultures.
Kimberly is our newest team member, but by no means new to dentistry. She started as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2008, but has spent the majority of her dental career in the front office. Kimberly aims to make your dental experience as pleasurable as possible. She is originally from Austin, but has lived in North Dallas since 1994. Kimberly is the mother of three and now lives in Melissa. She enjoys spending time with her children, making bath bombs, being outdoors, and gardening.

A confusing experience. I bought a Groupon for emergency x-rays labeled "Emergency Dental Exam with Diagnostic Imaging" I was expecting to have full X-rays done alongside an area that i knew needed to be treated. I read and reread the fine print and it did not mention anything limiting. When I arrive and was taken in for imaging it was stated that only one tooth is included. The listing did not properly highlight this. Staff was friendly on day of appointment. I had requested the imaging be sent to me for my records because I keep a file of all dental information. I never received the image when the technician took my email and said she would send it within the hour. I called the next day after not receiving it and spoke to a new hire who said she would ask the doctor. After asking multiple times it seemed they were trying to avoid sending them to me. Finally two days later I got an email with one image, though they had taken 4 without me asking. After replying that I only received one photo there was no reply. Overall, I didn't feel respected and communication was unprofessional. It really seemed all about the $$$ as the topic of compensation and price was brought up several times. Could've gotten imaging done anywhere but they were so tied to shackling me and my business to their business.

Just found this place and I love it. Wish I could come more often, just for the rejuvenating atmosphere. Dentist I saw (Dr. Sumpter) this week for checkup and fillings is reassuring, treatment plans are sensible and comprehensively explained, and the whole office (Cynthia et al) is great.

got my regular cleaning and exam done here. First time patient! I got my pictures and x-rays taken, as well as cleaning done by Sidney the hygienist. She was very nice and thorough, explaining every step as we went. I felt very well cared for. Dr. Park did my exam and was very gentle. She gave me good tips on improving my dental hygiene (which I need to!). Overall, I felt very valued as a patient and had a great experience.
