Dr. Hohad a passion of working with people in healthcare setting started as ayoung age. After finishing college at UC Berkeley, he tooktwoyears to work at the Medical Examiner Office of San Francisco and subsequently at UC Berkeley in the Nutritional Science research department. During that time, he also volunteered at the Berkeley Free Clinic doing Hepatitis counseling, and dental assisting, he discovered hisinterest in the dental profession. For the next four years, he attended the dental school at theUniversity of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) in 2008.
He established his dental practice in 2009.With hisskills and compassion, he has been able toprovide exceptional dentalcare tohis patients. After five years, his practice has grown and is well know to the San Francisco community through many positiveonline reviews from his patients.
Dr. Ho stays up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the best treatment for hispatients. As a doctor,he recognizes that hispatients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust inhim and histeam. That is one reason whyhevalues each and every patient relationship.
Dr. Cheng grew up in Taiwan and moved to the southern California at the age of 8. She thought she was going to be a chemical engineer at one time, but when she had the opportunity to observe an in house periodontist while working through college, she decided that was her true calling.After college she moved up to San Francisco to study at UCSF, and received her D.D.S. degree. Dr. Cheng completed her post graduate training in periodontology at UCSF with a certificate and a master in oral cranial facial science in 2011. During her residency program she was trained in all aspect of perio including but not limited to gingival graft, guided tissue regeneration, bone grafting, bone/sinus augmentation, and implants.
Outside of private practice Dr. Cheng works at a community clinic in Oakland where she sees under served patients and teaches dentists in advance education general dentistry program about periodontology. She is committed to giving back to the community, being active in community clinics and outreach to disadvantage populations. She is a member of American Dental Association, California Dental Society, American Academy of Periodontology, California Society of Periodontology, and Mid Peninsula Dental Society. Her hobbies include running, reading, traveling, and cooking. She just finished with her first marathon run in October 2011, and is lookking forward to explore the running trails around the mid peninsula.
Dr. Lau was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Southern California. He earned his Bachelors degree in Biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry.
Dr. Li was born and raised in the Bay Area. He earned a bachelors degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. After college, he pursued his DDS degree from New York University where he graduated with honors and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon national honor society. He enjoys staying up to date with evidence-based dentistry to provide the best comprehensive care for his patients. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Li enjoys cooking, hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and exploring the city with his wife.

Love this office and especially Dr. Ho! My family and I has been to his office for about a year already if not longer and every time, the experience has been wonderful. It's so clean and they take extra precautions when dealing with pandemic nowadays and I love how thorough & gentle Dr. Ho and his assistants or hygienists are ! I Totally recommend going if you're in need of a dentist or just want a check-up!

Dr. Ho is seriously the best. I've always dreaded going to the dentist and believe it or not refrained from going for the past 7 years. I'm in my mid 20's now, decided to get a teeth cleaning while living in New York and was informed that I had 4 wisdom teeth that needed extraction. One of those teeth had a cavity which I wasn't aware of and was half rotten, food was always getting stuck inside and it was a pain to deal with. I decided to get the procedure done at home in San Francisco and stumbled upon Dr. Ho's office on Yelp. I was super nervous on extraction day but Dr. Ho did a great job making me feel comfortable, and answered any and all questions I had. The whole procedure took about an hour with very minimal pain and swelling the next few days (close to none). Dr. Ho was consistently checking up on me via text even after hours which really shows he takes care of his clients. Today marks day 4 after my procedure and I'm back to eating solids totally pain free. Huge thanks to Dr ho for not cutting my gums. Definitely recommend coming to Dr. Ho for any dental needs.

I'm very impressed with Dr. Ho & the All Smiles Dental team. Scheduling was easy, and they follow up with you by text. Visits are efficient, office is clean, staff is friendly and Dr. Ho makes sure you have all the info you need for optimal dental care.

I have to say is that I hate dentists, but I don't hate Dr Ho. He is very nice and seems to be very accommodating. I had gone to a different dentist to have a crown replaced and they made the crown too big and my jaw was killing me. I went to go see Dr Ho and yea he took X-rays again, just like any other good dentist would do given that your last X-rays are done prior to a dentist working on them. So new X-rays just make sense, not sure why anyone would complain about that. He filed it down and my pain has improved. I still have to go back in and have him redo the crown because I still have pain from time to time. He cleaned my teeth and of course it hurt, but it was bearable and he did an awesome and thorough job. Another thing I would like to say is that Dr Ho will call you and text you from his cell phone number. I've never had my dentists personal cell phone number. He really does care about his patients and about the reputation of his practice!

Dr. Ho and his team are all stars! They run a very efficient practice and get you in and out super quick. I've been a patient here for almost 2 years and refuse to go anywhere else. Their prices/rates are fair, turn-around times are on point for anything from a lab (retainers, stay plates etc) and they're very accommodating. I come here for all my dental work, including getting two dental implants done by his amazing Periodontist, Dr. Joyce Cheng, who made the surgeries very quick, efficient and painless. I was never in the chair for more than an hour! I can't sing enough praises for the team here at All Smiles Dental. Best experience I've ever had, so happy to be a patient here!

I wish yelp gave more star option because 'd like to give them 100/100... Or maybe even more. For starters, I get HUGE anxiety when it comes to going to the doctors or the dentists and this anxiety got even worse when I moved from Socal to Norcal. However, when I read the reviews for Dr. Ho, I decided to give this place a try! I called around 3 pm on Saturday hoping to make an appointment sometime later this week to get a consultation on why my upper gum and jaw were hurting. I was extremely thankful when they asked me if I would like to get it checked today and rushed on over. The vibe of the office was really welcoming and my anxiety from being at the dentist's office was slowly washing away. Dr. Zahur Subedar checked my teeth and he explained to me that my wisdom tooth was coming out and then proceeded to bring Dr. Ho over. Honestly, I was expecting to make an appointment to get my wisdom tooth out on another day but was pleasantly surprised that they offered to take it out right away. Dr. Zahur Subedar is absolutely amazing and I recommend anyone who's coming to visit have him be their dentist because he kept checking in to see if I could was feeling any pain and reassuring me throughout the entire wisdom tooth extraction which helped my anxiety immensely. In addition, I have already recommended all my friends to Dr. Ho's office because he has been nothing but kind, helpful, and extremely passionate with making sure I was okay after my visit. He provided me with his number and reminded me of things to look out for while my gum heals as well as checking in to see if I feel better. So I most definitely recommend All Smiles Dental and will most definitely come here again! :)

After an emergency I went to All Smiles Dentals to fix my front tooth. After a diagnosis from Dr. Ho, I needed a implant and was worried of not having the same smile again and also did not know what to expect from the treatment. Dr. Ho took care of my situation for the next 5 months that followed, and made the process smooth and easy. He was exceptionnly skillful and patient throughout the long treatment and made a temporory fix that looked quite identical to my original tooth. The crown now in place is looking great, Dr. Ho will see me again to take care of my smile for the years to come! I am very grateful to have find him as my dentist in SF. If you ever read that review, thank you for your amazing work and passion!

Absolutely loved the service I was provided. Dr. Ho seen me on short notice and had me in and out. I was comfortable the whole time. No pain. Not what I was expecting but SUPER HAPPY I was referred to him. Recommend him to anyone having tooth pain and needs an extraction.

Dr. Ho is my favorite dentist ever! He is friendly, caring, and very professional! I love that he was volunteering in developing countries in the past and he told me that he would like to do that in the future again. The staff and the people in the office are always nice too! Also their office is such a clean, comfortable, and welcoming space! We are so glad to have found ALL SMILES DENTAL! :)

Sunday afternoon with a broken tooth and in pain, called Dr.Ho and went out his way on a Sunday afternoon and met with me at his office. He addressed the problem, very professional, he is a life saver! Not too many dentists will go out their way as he did, if any at all. Highly recommended, great dentist, A+++

Tooth be told...I have always hated going to the dentist; so when one of my tooth started to hurt - I knew I had to go see one. Dr. Ho from All Smiles Dental was amazing. In the later evening, I looked online for an emergency dental office and I sent All Smiles Dental an email and within minutes I received a response from Dr. Ho and was able to get an appointment for the next day. Dr. Ho made my procedure quick and painless! He even checks up on you to see how you're doing :) Anyone who fear's going to the dentist - I highly recommend going to see Dr. Ho!

Dr Ho is great! He was able to get me in for a same day Saturday emergency appointment after there was an issue with a filling that my previous dentist put in. The fix was to redo the filling, so I got to experience a side-by-side comparison of two dentists doing the same procedure. There were a lot of details that made the experience with Dr Ho way better! Attention to detail + patient safety: the office is spotlessly clean, safety protocols are followed, and all staff wear well-fitted N95 masks. Not cutting corners on these small visible things is a good sign that they're not cutting corners in your mouth. Comfort: Dr Ho was very careful to make sure that I was always comfortable: he began by applying some lip balm (no chapped lips!), was careful with the positioning of the suction device (not having it touch the back of your throat, triggering the gag reflex), didn't use any devices that force your mouth open (last dentist did this, it hurts your jaw), and was careful to adjust the anesthetic until I couldn't feel anything. Technology / office setup: The office is spacious and comfortable, meaning you have privacy and feel at ease. They have some pretty fancy modern tools, including a screen that displays your X-rays and a live mouth camera feed to give the dentist more visibility as he's doing his work. The newer dental tools also felt a lot less like "forceful scratching" and a lot more like "precision detailing" compared to my previous experience. This kept my anxiety levels way down, which was nice. Skills: I'm not a dentist, but from my layman's perspective, Dr Ho displayed a lot of skill & attention to detail compared to the previous dentist. For example, he noticed some decay on the tooth directly adjacent to my filling, and fixed that up as well since he was already in there. He also spent a lot more time fine-tuning the fit on the filling to make sure that my bite looked right and didn't feel weird after the procedure.

Dr. Ho is without a doubt the best dentist I have ever visited, and he goes out of his way to make his patients feel cared for. He is such a sweet and caring person, that I have referred other people to him in the hope that he builds his practice up and can earn more than he charges now. You will not find a better person to take care of your issues -- he stays late, and does extra work without asking for payment, just because of the type of person that he is.

Dr. Ho was was wonderful! He was able to help us with our dental emergency even on a Sunday where other places were closed. He was fast to respond, professional, and very nice and polite even though he had to come in on a Sunday to help my wife with her crown. I would definitely recommend for your dental needs !

Amazing job done! I'm really happy with the care and patience Dr.Ho had towards my procedure of tooth extraction. They are amazing when it comes to answering phone calls and great replies through text ! All the staff are kind and make sure you feel comfortable specially with Dr.Ho's sense of humor definitely made my visit great! They explain everything to you and are attentive making sure to accommodate you to have the best experience. They truly care about their patients. I definitely recommend All Smiles Dental !
