Dr. Hohad a passion of working with people in healthcare setting started as ayoung age. After finishing college at UC Berkeley, he tooktwoyears to work at the Medical Examiner Office of San Francisco and subsequently at UC Berkeley in the Nutritional Science research department. During that time, he also volunteered at the Berkeley Free Clinic doing Hepatitis counseling, and dental assisting, he discovered hisinterest in the dental profession. For the next four years, he attended the dental school at theUniversity of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) in 2008.
He established his dental practice in 2009.With hisskills and compassion, he has been able toprovide exceptional dentalcare tohis patients. After five years, his practice has grown and is well know to the San Francisco community through many positiveonline reviews from his patients.
Dr. Ho stays up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the best treatment for hispatients. As a doctor,he recognizes that hispatients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust inhim and histeam. That is one reason whyhevalues each and every patient relationship.
Dr. Cheng grew up in Taiwan and moved to the southern California at the age of 8. She thought she was going to be a chemical engineer at one time, but when she had the opportunity to observe an in house periodontist while working through college, she decided that was her true calling.After college she moved up to San Francisco to study at UCSF, and received her D.D.S. degree. Dr. Cheng completed her post graduate training in periodontology at UCSF with a certificate and a master in oral cranial facial science in 2011. During her residency program she was trained in all aspect of perio including but not limited to gingival graft, guided tissue regeneration, bone grafting, bone/sinus augmentation, and implants.
Outside of private practice Dr. Cheng works at a community clinic in Oakland where she sees under served patients and teaches dentists in advance education general dentistry program about periodontology. She is committed to giving back to the community, being active in community clinics and outreach to disadvantage populations. She is a member of American Dental Association, California Dental Society, American Academy of Periodontology, California Society of Periodontology, and Mid Peninsula Dental Society. Her hobbies include running, reading, traveling, and cooking. She just finished with her first marathon run in October 2011, and is lookking forward to explore the running trails around the mid peninsula.
Dr. Lau was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Southern California. He earned his Bachelors degree in Biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry.
Dr. Li was born and raised in the Bay Area. He earned a bachelors degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. After college, he pursued his DDS degree from New York University where he graduated with honors and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon national honor society. He enjoys staying up to date with evidence-based dentistry to provide the best comprehensive care for his patients. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Li enjoys cooking, hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and exploring the city with his wife.

I love this place! :) my experience was great! Both Dr. Ho and her assistance are very nice and made me feel comfortable all the time. I'm a very nervous person so I appreciate their patience and how nice they are!

Dr Ho is hands down one of the best dentists I've been to. I was looking for urgent help on the weekend and had chipped my tooth the night before. All the usual dentist practices are closed but thankfully I found Dr Ho's practice online. I was able to quickly get in touch with him through calls and the subsequent texts got me an appointment on Sunday within 2 hours of initial contact. He was able to talk me through the issue, what possible treatments were available and what the possible outcomes would be. His professionalism and attention to detail were second to none and my tooth is happily restored. I would heavily recommend any of my friends to come to this dental practice.

Dr. Ho is my favorite dentist and I've only been to him once. I saw raving reviews about him on Reddit surprisingly and I booked my appointment soon after. He is truly so gentle, nice, and cares about your well-being. I was a little nervous since it's been 3 years since my last cleaning (don't judge me!) and he didn't shame me at all. Taught me how to floss thoroughly. He made it so simple and did a tutorial on my entire mouth. Booked my next cleaning 6 months out so I don't have to be embarrassed again. Thanks Dr. Ho!! You make going to the dentist a very pleasant experience.

Dr. Ho is the best. Like, he is AMAZING. Where do I even start?! # Story 1: Ok, well today, I had an urgent question about a dental issue I am dealing with. I called his office because I accidentally misread that his office was open today on a Sunday. I then realize that his office is not actually open and thought "I'll call him tomorrow". Then, I get a text from Dr. Ho to check up on me. WHO DOES THAT?! Answer: Dr. Ho I should also mention because I have moved away from SF, I no longer see Dr. Ho, but have not found a dentist I trust in my new area. And he STILL texted me! I am so grateful, thank you Dr. Ho. (See attached photo below) # Story 2: A couple years ago, I had an urgent teeth issue that I needed to be seen immediately. Dr. Ho immediately made time to personally see me. I had a sudden work scheduling conflict arise that had me need to change the appointment time, and they were accommodating. It was very easy to work with the office # Story 3 The first time I saw Dr. Ho, I came from another dentist from a different part of the country that told me I needed a $ deep cleaning $. That's fine if I really needed one, but Dr. Ho looked at my teeth and he told me I didn't need one. God, he is beyond honest, like he just goes above and beyond. Thank you for being an incredible Dentist Dr. Ho, I am so grateful for you. I wish you had a practice to every part of the country I move to. Thank you so much, Jonathan

Open on Sunday! Usually that's their West Portal location but that's being remodeled for a few months. A total lifesaver when I had awful pain. Dr. Ho is amazing and responds by text both to schedule and to follow up. The amount of care and time taken is wonderful. Videos are shown with time for questions Lots of nice gear used, first time I've seen a camera on a stick in my mouth. The one star docked is that it is not as clear as it could be what the costs are going to be. This is unfortunate because the great service comes with a matching price tag. Communication about my treatment changing wasn't really relayed to me until I inquired more about the price. If you can afford it, a great place to go.
