Dr. Amy Khajavi DDS is a graduate of the International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics in Chicago, Illinois. After completing her dental degree as a dentist in Oregon, she continued an additional five more years of extensive studying which led her to received the prestigious Master of International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics specializing in jaws, full mouth reconstruction , occlusion, neuromuscular dentistry, sleep disorders, and TMJ/TMD diagnosis and treatment. She has treated thousands of patients suffering from TMJ/TMD & BRUXISM. And full mouth reconstruction on dental implants. Being an orthopedist of the jaw, she has placed more than 30,000 implants, and her success rate is unsurpassed.
All Natural Dentistrys Dr. Amy Khajavi is a specialist in full mouth reconstruction using ceramic zirconia dental implants and crowns. She is one of the few dentists that provides patients with full mouth reconstruction whereby both implants and crowns are metal free ceramic zirconia.
A holistic dental office, All Natural Dentistry only uses non-metal biocompatible materials in its dental procedures such as the surgical placement of zirconia dental implants, which is carried out using 3D technology and a fabricated surgical guide after putting the patient under IV Sedation or the supervision of a general anesthesiologist.
One of the reasons we are respected in our community is that we use PRGF or Protein Rich Growth Factor, which is attained from the patients blood and significantly improves soft tissue healing. Moreover, the bone graft we use is a combination of PRGF stem cells and synthetic Swiss-made Bio-Oss.
Our dental office is led by Dr. Amy Khajavi who started the clinic and has more than 20 years of experience as a dentist. She completed her M.S. in Micro Biology and went on to receive her doctorate of Dental Medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. Khajavis post-doctoral education involved training under two world-renowned prosthodontists: Dr. Ueno Hiroshi and Dr. Bob Jankelson. After five years of training in the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics, she attained a Mastership in craniomandibular orthopedics of the jaw.
Dr. Khajavis skill and experience in full mouth rehabilitation has earned her several awards including Excellence in Full Mouth Rehabilitation from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry in 2002. In 2003, she was named A Highly Dedicated and Master Clinician by the same institute. Dr. Khajavi also studied implantology for a further two years, was awarded with a prestigious Fellowship by the International Congress of Oral Implantology, and considers metal-free ceramic dental implants a better alternative to titanium implants.

Dr Amy is a miracle worker to me. I have suffered dental anxiety for years, to the detriment of my dental health. From the beginning she understood and was very compassionate. I immediately felt she was the one for me. Her team is fantastic Esther is awesome handling insurance and prescriptions, Argie and Mirasol are always by my side during procedures making me feel safe and comfortable. I am always treated warmly by all. Dr Amy is a true treasure and I can't really express how grateful I am that she's taking care of me. Would definitely recommend her she goes above and beyond.

I was looking for a good dentist to do difficult dental work and was lucky to be recommended "All Natural Dentistry". Doctor Amy Khajavi is a wonderful human being and a unique high-level specialist who constantly works on improving her qualification and attends various dental conferences. She keeps ahead of all innovations and can do some things that other dentists can't. She is always ready to meet wishes of patients and actually cares about people. Doctor Muazz Zendaki is also a very responsive person, is a high-class specialist and the way he performs all the dental work is just perfect. I was not expecting such kindness starting with the front desk to the assistant and Dr. Amy, wow. The most thorough, patient, thoughtful, wise considerate one I ever met who takes root and notice of the bigger picture and all aspects. Every other specialist and Dr wouldn't dig deeper or do tests ( big pharma, western medicine and unecessary procedures) or listen or see what was going on . She is a gift and gives hope and feels caring and trustworthy, if you knew what I've been through ..This is a gem and you will find help here

I give my highest recommendation for Dr. Khajavi. Not only is she a master at her work she is a very rare human being who is truly human with a genuinely loving, compassionate, caring heart. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and needed to get some teeth extracted and implants put in. I knew that I wanted to get zirconia implants and my extensive research led me to Dr. Amy as the right choice. I am so grateful I found her. It has been worth it to me to travel to San Diego for the multiple visits in the process of the different stages of getting the implants. FYI, I was considering Dr. Amy aka Azadeh Khajavi as my dentist to have some implants done after reading all the stellar reviews on here, till I found out her dental license is in probationary status, (previously revoked) due to "unacceptable Patient Care" and failure to document patient records amongst other complaints when she practiced in Oregon. Could that be why she later practiced in Mexico? This is all public info on the Department of Consumer Affairs website if you lookup her license. Furthermore, there's 2 active lawsuits against her according to the Superior Court of California, County of San Diego website. Based on this data, I would stay far away.

2 Stars for them actually following through with the cleaning I requested. Everything else was a flop. I specifically searched out a holistic dentist because that meets my specific needs & lifestyle, so I was happy to find this office. What I found unsettling is how like every other typical dentist they pushed night guards and deep cleaning. After carefully listening to Dr.Z say multiple times my teeth were great & I had very little pocketing I was still told I needed a deep clean which I did not want. They were not even going to give me the normal cleaning I requested until I told them I would just go somewhere else. The cleaning was standard, nothing much to say about it. The weird part was they have no holistic tooth paste, mouthwash, or chapstick. How uncomfortable ! They didn't even rinse my mouth out afterwards and I had to request something. Imagine going around after a cleaning without a rinse or even toothpaste. Super uncomfortable and unprofessional. The new assistant just said "It's something they will do in the future." So anyways I won't be returning to find out.

Finding a dentist who we can trust is major; after all, this is our smile, our face to the world. I'm now past 65+ - My teeth seemed perfectly fine until they started spacing in my mouth - I've always had a great smile and a healthy mouth, I thought! No swollen gums - no bleeding - what could be the problem? Even though I had cleanings once or twice a year, I discovered after visiting my dentist in Portland Or, I had great bone loss, which was the reason for my shifting teeth. This dentist gave me sad, scary, shocking and super expensive news. After some research I found that Dentist can charge what ever they want - so in some ways they're like mechanics. If you find a good one, who is honest - go with her, and tell your friends. I'd heard about going to Mexico, for many reasons, so I began my search. I found a lot of dental shops that sounded like they were herding cattle. This is I did not want. I prefer personal care. I found Dr. Amy Khajavi in San Diego - Dr Amy is amazing, gentle and explains everything on the first visit, as you're looking at an Xray of the inside of your head from every angle. Her equipment is the latest state of the art Xray machines. The office is super clean and her staff is attentive and caring. I needed a lot of dental care including implants - as Dr Amy pointed our, this is a process. First surgery, bone loss repair, implants, months of healing time, then the final fitting of my new smile. The entire surgery, bone repair and implants were done in one visit. What I want to brag about this, I didn't even know it was happening..and NO PAIN. In fact there has been NO PAIN, for me, this entire process. Also, a great price, at least one we could swallow without choking. What I love is the Metal Free Ceramic Implants and NO METAL or infection left in my mouth. MY mouth feels fabulous The process is involved and Dr Amy and her excellent staff are there if we have questions. I am now less than 6 weeks away from getting my new smile complete. Dr Amy did make a temporary so I could at least have some kind of teeth in my mouth. I'm soo excited to post a photo here when I'm complete In the mean time - choosing Dr Amy is choosing a dentist who has great expertise, a dentist who stays educated not only in the dental industry but also internal medicine. Also, a dentist who is sensitive to our individual needs as we move though this. I really appreciate her compassionate nature Having a calm confidence that we've made the right choice and we are in perfect care is a big deal going forward with any procedure. Personally I feel blessed to have found this Dentist and her staff.

I hit the jackpot! Dr . Amy figured out a long term bite problem that no other dentist could. And she corrected My painful grind during our first visit. She didn't even charge me. She solved my main concern and I will follow up with her for an implant next month. Luckily she also saw that my root canal a year ago was still infected and poorly done. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my smile or wallet. Dr Amy is SMART, FUN, and puts her patients first. She is now the ONLY dentist for my family and I.
