Dr. Kristen Cummings was born and raised in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then attended Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine, cum laude.
Because of her desire to specialize in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Kristen furthered her education by completing a two-year residency program at the Childrens Hospital in Denver, Colorado where she earned a Certificate of Specialization in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Kristen also chose to take part in a two-part examination testing and validating her advanced training in pediatric dentistry. She completed these certifying exams, became a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and is now a proud member of the ABPD College of Diplomats.

I appreciate meeting new families and building relationships with them. Watching children grow up with healthy smiles, and sharing in the lives, is rewarding. I oversee the day-to-day operations of All Grins 4 Kids, handle human resources, check in patients, and answer the phone. Working in a positive, energetic office where we like to have fun and are surrounded by childrens smiles is the best: I love that we work together to provide great dental care to all.
My family keeps me busy outside of the office. Im married and have three kids: Reegan, Ellery, and Oliver. I love attending their soccer games and many school events. A lot of our summer hours are spent at the pool,and Im interested in health and fitness, too.
Ashley is the first face you will see when you walk into the office and the first voice you will hear when you call. She greets your children with a joyful voice and smile (behind the mask). She enjoys talking to the kiddos and getting to know them and their families. Outside of work Ashley likes to spend time with her family and friends, going to concerts, and cooking.
I like working with and on behalf of our patients families, making sure they are able to maximize their insurance benefits. Insurance forms can be confusing, so I help families understand their coverage and file the necessary paperwork on their behalf. Being part of All Grins 4 Kids means working alongside talented, compassionate people who provide the best dental care for our patients.
I love seeing the kids proud of themselves after they finish a procedure; sometimes I even get hugs! Our patients grow into young adults with great smiles and they graduate knowing that taking care of their oral health is important. I present and explain treatment plans to parents, schedule hospital procedures, collect payments, and process insurance. All Grins 4 Kids is an amazing practice: everyone is kind, gentle, and devoted to the patient experience.
I have many interests and hobbies outside of work. I love old cars and motorcycles, flower arranging and home remodeling, and singing karaoke. Im also known as the Coupon Queen! Most of all, I love time with my three grown children and one grandchild.
I am happy my work allows me to help kids. Seeing each patient grow up with a big, healthy smile, and knowing I played a role in that, keeps me smiling. I assist Dr. Cummings with patient care, working chairside during procedures and making sure our patient is at ease. Ours is a friendly and welcoming office, where we care about each other and our patients like family.
Colleen loves taking the time with each child and parent to make sure that every dental visit is a enjoyable experience! When kids leave the dentist happy- it helps to create lifelong happy dental patients with makes for healthier dental patients. Colleen has been a hygienist for 11 years and loves working with such a fun team that truly care for each and every person who walks in our door.

Probably one of the rudest and most unprofessional medical facilities we have ever dealt with. Was sent a invoice with a nasty message on it for $70 dollars that wasn't paid because we never received the first invoice. Then today we needed to reschedule an appointment for tomorrow and they refused to schedule the appointment unless we paid $40 dollars immediately over the phone . Not sure what problems the owners may have but they seem pretty hard up for money to treat patients that have had two kids coming there for 12 years now.

Very easy and helpful. My son has autism and they had us in and out and were very kind and considerate. Would strongly recommend for any child.

I set up a dentist appointment for my daughter and we had to reschedule due to testing positive for Covid and when I called to tell them the receptionist was extremely rude and told me they would charge $40 for rescheduling. This would have been my daughters 1st time there but based on the receptionist's attitude and lack of compassion we will never come here.

Took my 2yo here for her first dentist appointment; they were great with her! All staff were friendly and professional; office was spotless; the whole experience was great. :) They have an awesome paperless system so you can fill out your new patient paperwork easily on your phone or computer before the appointment, rather than having to juggle it and a kid in the lobby.

The staff at All Grins 4 Kids is AMAZING. I drove 2 hours away to go here and I have no regrets. They treat you with respect and they explain everything so well. They were so good with my son. They made him feel as comfortable as possible. We will be returning in the future! :)

Had our first visit today at All Grins for Kids. Everyone was amazing as soon as you walk in. I brought my 18m old and 3 year old at the same time and they made it super easy for us. My son loved the sunglasses and Netflix, also the toys at the end. He is excited to go back again! Very impressed and will recommend.

The place is ok for certain type of people! I brought my kids here and I understand every place has rules but my apology for not wanting to spread covid! They had my child get several teeth removed! MY 6 YEAR OLD CHILD - SEVERAL TEETH REMOVED! Made sure my account balance was back at zero and dropped him as a patient! NOT ONCE followed up with the care of the removals and my child was having complications! Yes, we missed 2 appointments and when I thought about it because my home was fighting covid and deaths, I was told he was dropped! Now!! First off after his surgery they couldn't get him in until months later which definitely shown the lack of care they had for him, even with me complaining of his complications! The second appointment that was missed they squeezed him in after constantly rescheduling and rescheduling his appointment due to them making errors but that was ok!! So this second appointment that was missed they called us a day or two before saying they could get him in after 3 months of his surgery! Whelp!! I wasn't expecting a death right in front of us and my mind slipped the appointment having to deal with everything! I called and explained but they didn't care and it was like they had been paid and they finally got us ones out of their office! The first time is because on our way to the office I was informed that we had been exposed to covid!! Literally your mind shifts and you zone out from the world when you hear those words! I could have kept going and we went but I called them! This place is a joke! But my child was never followed up with under their care and I am glad my baby is ok!! They could have at-least followed up and then dropped him! We weren't bad pay masters! I guess just wasn't their type! To me they didn't even fake it! I came to pick up his paperwork to try to find help for my son and the lady that gave me the paperwork attitude was freaking ignorant as if she was going to whoop my butt!! LOL smh -- It was crazy!!

I took my 3 children here, ages 8-2 and one is special needs. The appointments were quick and thorough. All questions answered and good communication about findings. Front desk staff very helpful with insurance and instructions. The kids loved their free toothbrushes! Glad to have this dentist in our area.

I drove an hour to go to this place and then told me to go wait in the car and they would take my 5 year old back. I explained to them I was not gona let a 5 year old go back by herself to a place she had never been and didn't no anyone especially after she had a bad bad experience with another dentist

Kind, efficient office staff. Daughter had small filling and sealants; appt took less than 30 minutes. The remodel makes the waiting area difficult for more than one family, especially with covid social distancing measures. Great experience, daughter was very comfortable there.

My children always love coming here. They make them feel so comfortable. Sam made a huge impact on my daughter. She asked if she could see Sam every time that we go to the dentist. It's just an overall great environment with very welcoming and friendly people. Would definitely recommend.

My son had a rough start to his dental health. He had a baby tooth that went rotten quickly (even though we thought we were doing everything right). The first dentist he ever saw put him through a root canal! (Or at least the equivalent of a root canal on a baby tooth.) We thought the whole process was really strange for a 5 year old. After another visit to that same dentist, we quickly realized we were not in good company and had a mistake letting him operate on our son. That's when we found All Grins. It was SOOOO obvious, the second we walked in, that this was going to be our new dentist. Dr. Cummings is absolutely terrific and her staff is stellar! Dr. Kristin initially looked at his crazy, partially fixed tooth, and said, "Ok, what's going on there?" I explained the whole situation to her and she was obviously very sympathetic and helped us feel better about his dental health right away. First thing, she sent us to get that tooth pulled, which is what should have happened from the beginning. Then, she's been dutifully caring for him every six months ever since. He loves going. We were so afraid that his first experience was going to make him terrified of dentists, but he's not at all now! She has an amazing, charming personality and she's obviously very good at what she does. My only complaint is that she doesn't take adult patients. She'd be my dentist if I could have her! Thank you All Grins 4 Kids!

This dental office is friendly and efficient! They take great care of my children's teeth, understand my insurance coverage, and thoroughly explain any necessary procedures. Excellent communication and caring staff.

We called last year when my son was 1.5 to see if his dental insurance was accepted there. I was asked if I wanted to set up an appointment and I said no his pediatrician recommended going between 2.5-3. I had the same conversation with 2 other pediatric dentists. I called today to set up an appointment. They added him as a new patient and set up an appointment. Then I received 3 calls that I could not answer then they called my fiance to say they couldn't take him because he missed 2 appointments last year. They said the appointments were for a tooth that wouldn't come in with swelling an issue my child has never had. I told them multiple times he never had an appointment or that issue but they refused to see him which is ok because they obviously did something wrong and refuse to admit it. I do remember them placing him in the system that day as I told them we will most likely bring him there to make it easier when we did set up the appointment but I've never had an appointment with them. The lady was extremely nice today about it but it just doesn't sit right with me.
