Prior to entering private practice, he served a general practice residency at the State University of New York in Syracuse. He is a former instructor at the University of Michigan Dental School and the World Clinical Laser Institute.
Zia has taken numerous postgraduate education courses, specifically selecting courses focusing on esthetic dentistry. He has recent training in anterior esthetics from the prestigious Las Vegas Institute, as well as in laser dentistry, which allows him to offer pain-free and conservative treatment. I don't normally write reviews let alone give negative ones. But I received a call from them asking if i was able to come in earlier then my scheduled appointment. I advised I would try but was working and possibly wouldn't be able to make it. I Called them back to advise I would have to keep my original appt time, and while driving to their location received a phone call to reschedule because they double booked. I left work early and picked up my son for this appt, so the lack of consideration on their end was awful. It was not just this occurrence either. The dentist really didn't seem to know what she was doing while looking at the x-rays of my sons teeth, which made me very uneasy. So we will not be returning. I would go elsewhere.

They will try and sell you services you absolutely don't need or lie about it. They are one of the new age "dentists" who only want to sell, sell, sell! I guarantee they try to tell you that you need a mouth guard and sell you an expensive toothbrush! Thank God I'am not ignorant and a family member worked in dentistry for 25+ years. If you tell them "no" to something, they will belittle you or try to make you feel like your a bad person or parent for that matter. I had a man in front of me during my last visit walk out and not pay.... That should have been an indication of what I should have expected. We told them we didn't want our child having flouride or X-rays done, they still did or pushed the issue. When a parent tells you no, it's no. Respect that. The last straw was when they tried to put a mask on my child when we told them he doesn't wear one. If your naive or don't know any better, good luck- I hope you have good insurance/deep pockets!

Overall very pleasant experience with the staff and considerations they made for my child. Only improvement I would suggest is for the dentist and her approach on how she judges a persons lifestyle and making a parent feel guilt for tooth decay. And maybe take into account some people go through major stress and financial issues that may make it difficult to focus on certain things like dental care...otherwise very happy with my experience here.

My daughter and I had an amazing experience! The staff there is excellent! Dr. Rafiq, Chelsea, Sarah, Katherine and Kendall were so helpful! Definitely there to stay!!

All I can say is AMAZING! I just switched over to this dentist office and they have been so attentive and kind. On my first appointment everyone made me feel so welcome and the doctor spent over an hour with me just to get to me and explain what my xrays. Today I had a slight mishap and lost a filling. They were able to squeeze me in immediately and took care of me as if I were their only patient. Front receptionists and assistants are also super friendly. All around great place!

First time at a dentist for a few years, so I was extremely nervous. The front desk staff were so kind and reassuring. I like to give a special thanks to Kendall who managed to squeeze me in earlier for an appointment! Michelle was my hygienist and was super helpful, kind, and did a great job cleaning my teeth! Dr. Rafiq was great as well and answered all of my questions. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend coming here!

I absolutely love this place! All of the staff and I do mean ALL of the staff are welcoming, friendly, and professional. My entire family has been going here for years and we always have a great experience. There's never a long wait and they get you in and out. Clean place, nice environment and they're awesome with children as well! So glad to be apart of the All Brite family!
