Dr. Kristine is passionate about creating harmony between function and esthetics. She is a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry and is planning on pursuing fellowship and eventually mastership to stay current with modern technology and to provide her patients with the best available treatments. Together with her husband Dr. Andrii she is raising two children: Athena and Daniel. In her free time she loves to travel and explore new cultures. Dr. Kristine is a member of the American Dental Association. She speaks fluent Latvian, Russian, and English.

This office treats all patients regardless of their abilities or disabilities. We work with all insurances and reimbursement plans. We are a model office in coaching employers about Direct Reimbursement Plans as an alternative to conventional dental insurance. We also have the technical expertise to work with the newest Health Savings Accounts as well as the traditional Flexible Spending Accounts.

Ukrainian native, Dr. Andrii Shportko graduated from Midwestern University Dental College in Arizona in 2016. As a dental student he became proficient in digital dentistry, laser treatment, and clear aligner therapy. While still in dental college, he received certification in hard and soft tissue lasers, as well as became a provider for Invisalign. Dr. Andrii moved to New York in 2016. In 2017 he received certification from Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn where he completed his training in General Dentistry with emphasis in oral surgery. In 2017 Dr. Andrii gained acceptance into one of the most prestigious orthodontic residencies at BronxCare Hospital in NY, where he is pursuing specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. For the past two years he has been providing dental treatment and braces for children and adults in Bronx, Queens and Westchester.

Dr. Andrii and his wife Dr. Kristine are fortunate to have two wonderful children: Athena and Daniel. In his free time he loves to travel with his family, hiking and swimming. Every so often he likes to surprise his wife with a homemade gourmet dinner and his children with spontaneous outdoor trips. They are looking forward to raising their family in Stamford and want to become a part of this wonderful community.

Native of Puerto Rico Dr. Lionel Vera graduated the University of Puerto Rico Dental College in 2014. After moving to New York City he completed 2 years of General Practice Residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center with emphasis in pediatric dentistry. Doctor Lionel is passionate about all the aspects of general dentistry but finds treating children the most rewarding part of being a dentist. Dr. Lionel completed his pediatric training at Maimonides Medical Center in 2018 with emphasis in treating special needs patients. Dr. Lionel works with children in Queens, Long Island and Stamford. He understands that dental visits can be pretty stressful for both kids and parents. Dr. Lionel offers reduced anxiety treatment with nitrous oxide laughing gas, and in some cases without injections shots. He enjoys being a part of Stamford community and is planning on permanently moving here. In his free time Dr. Lionel enjoys traveling, reading, movies and theater.

Lorrie has been with the team for almost 15 years. She comes from a background in the Service Industry and has been involved in customer service operations most of her working career. An expert in insurance benefits and services, Lorrie is ourgo to person for insurance related issues.

Nancy is a lifelong resident of Stamford having gone through the Stamford Public Schools. She has been with the team over 20 years! Having trained in both front desk operations and dental assisting she is truly a gal Friday and can tackle most anything that needs doing in the Practice.

Mia, Registered Dental Hygienist, joined the Team in 2003. Mia is also a graduate of the Fones School of Dental Hygiene. She has taken advanced training courses in NYU in local anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide. She is permitted by license to administer local anesthetic by injection for the patients that need this service. It took many years for the State of Connecticut to allow this service to be delivered by licensed Dental Hygienists.

We are proud that Mia was in one of the first groups to learn the techniques. She also participates in the regular Prophylaxis services including scaling, root planing, oral hygiene instructions and bleaching services.
