Dr. Stephen Lavrisa grew up in the Chicagoland area and attended Loyola University for his undergraduate degree. Stephen was quite the athlete in college as he was the captain of Loyolas soccer team while he was in attendance. He graduated from the University of Illinois, Chicago Dental School with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Continuing his education and staying up to date on all of the latest dental techniques is of the utmost importance to Dr. Lavrisa.
Dr. Stephen Lavrisa has been honored with many accolades due to his excellent skills and qualifications as a family and cosmetic dentist. He was awarded the 2015 Patients Choice Award as one of the Top 5 Dentist in Geneva, IL. The National Consumer Advisory Board named him as one of Americas Best Dentist in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Geneva Dentist Stephen Lavrisa has been nominated by his dentist peers as being one of Chicagos TopDentist in 2018 and 2019. Dr. Stephen Lavrisa was published in the January 2018 and 2019 issues of Chicago Magazine as one of Chicagos TopDentist. The Chicago Tribune has published articles about Dr. Lavrisa and All About You Dental Care.
Dr. Lavrisa proudly served three years as a Captain and dentist in the United States Air Force stationed in California, practicing in clinical rotations of prosthodontics, periodontics and oral surgery. Upon completion, he returned to his roots in the Chicago area and practiced in Wheaton and Sandwich for three years. He then joined a partnership in Montgomery where he practiced for six years. In 2003, Dr. Lavrisa moved his practice to Geneva and specializes in cosmetic dentistry, family dentistry and the Pinhole Surgical Technique. PST is a non- cutting, no suture, and no grafting procedure for gingival recession correction. He currently welcomes all patients.

I went in seeking a second opinion regarding a dental procedure, and left with Dr. Lavrisa being my new dentist. He and his staff are amazing! He's very patient, thorough, understanding, friendly, and very professional. The filling was a breeze! Best dental experience I have ever had!

My family started with Dr. Lavrisa 21 years ago when we first moved to Illinois. We have continued to use his services because of his friendliness and excellent care. I recently cracked a molar on the first night of a vacation. I called their office the next day and they were able to get me an appointment so a temporary crown could be put on the day after we returned from the vacation. All the staff are extremely pleasant and gentle!

The dentist isn't a fun place to go. But at All About You Dental Care I always feel comfortable. They listen, explain and take my health issues seriously. It's a friendly office from the greeting at the door all the way through to checkout. It is definitely an office that lives up to its name "All About you Dental Care".

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Lavrisa and his staff. I have been going there for over 14 years. Wonderful staff at the front and for dental hygiene. I will always miss my favorite Myrna but they all are great!

I bit on a seed and felt it hit a nerve. During my dental visit, Dr. Lavrisa advised that I had three teeth with cracks but the cracks on one tooth were more pronounced. He did several tests but nothing conclusive. Given a previous history, he recommended that I should have the tooth crowned. On the day of doing the crown, I had to be almost certain that we identified the correct tooth. Dr. Lavrisa patiently did several tests again in an attempt to identify the affected tooth. Again, nothing conclusive. However, I did not want to leave without taking any action and risk a tooth decay. Dr. Lavrisa described what he saw and gave me his professional advice. Based on this I went ahead to have the one tooth capped. It turned out that I made the right decision as that tooth would have given me issues if no action was taken. My gratitude to Dr. Lavrisa for his patience, for being a good listener and his genuine concern for his patient's wellbeing. He has a great staff--friendly but professional and efficient
