Dr. Maria Mndez was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. After graduating from high school, she went on to attend college at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she graduated Cum Laude in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Anthropology. She was on the Deans List and received the Elizabeth Cary Agassiz Award for academic excellence. Dr. Mndez furthered her education at the University of Puerto Rico, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received her dental degree in 1995.
Dr. Mndez then graduated from the University of Michigan, where she received her Masters degree in the specialty of Orthodontics. She started her career working as a general dentist in Michigan. In 2001, Dr. Mndez began working as an orthodontist in Central Florida. In 2008, she started her own orthodontic practice in Orlando, All About Smiles. Dr. Mndez is married to Dr. Arturo Ydrach, an oral surgeon at Oral and Facial Surgery Center. Together they have two wonderful boys and enjoy spending time as a family.
About Leasing: Leasing has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She is a doting mother of two children she is very proud of. In her off time, she participates in voluntary work in the community by helping non-English speaking people arm and live by Bible principals. When she is not at work, she enjoys exercising, gardening, hiking, crafting, and DIY projects with her family.
Aira was born in Stamford, CT and moved to Florida in 2010. She earned her Expanded Functions in dental assisting in 2016. She has worked with Dr. Mara Mndez for 2 years and has found her love for orthodontics. She loves spending her free time with her 7-month-old daughter Kaleah Rose. When Aira is not on mommy duty, she loves watching action movies, ATV off-roading and sunset beach days.

The whole process was easy and fast. Everything was explained to me and they are willing to work out a payment plan when the time comes for my kid to get braces. Sharen was awesome with me and the kids. She gave them activities to do for each child so they had something to do.

CHECK THE STAFF'S CREDENTIALS BEFORE DECIDING TO MAKE THIS YOU ORTHO PLACE. After finally finishing my treatment with them, my initial opinion has changed. Sure Sharen the financial coordinator and Dr. Mendez are good and knowledgeable but the staff they hire are very bad and uneducated. They might all seem friendly but when they work on your teeth, I come out every time with new damage. Keep in mind that I have no shortage of Vitamin D or Calcium and I'm fairly younger, a.k.a my teeth are clean and healthy. Parents, you need to check your kids' teeth and gums before and after they attach or shave any glue off. Back to the staff, they are lazy and they try to work fast so they can talk amongst themselves more and this causes a lot of mistakes to be made TO YOUR TEETH. I HAVE SMALL DENTS EVERYWHERE IN MY TEETH AND CUTS IN MY GUMS every time they change the "buttons" for Invisalign. The staff, aside from Dr. Mendez, are not fit to do their job. I feel like she hired them out of pity and friendship rather than capability. I wouldn't be surprised if half of them didn't have the proper schooling.

I had loved this place while I was being serviced, however today I had my braces taken off and the lady over filed my teeth so much making them look uneven. Im not happy with the final results!

Great practice: professional, kind and bilingual staff. The facility is extremely clean and they are always on time with my appointments. Dr. Mendez has taken care of my kids and now my self after multiple health sequelae. Highly recommended!!

I recommend this place ! I got my braces done with them and they are great. The environment is super friendly. I haven't had any issues at all the two years I've been going to them. All the staff there is kind and loving. The place is very clean. They are organized with their time and you hardly ever have to wait. My brother is now getting his braces done there and he also is having a great experience. I would recommend this place to anyone.
