A part of the new patient exam, this camera allows Dr. Salah to easily and painlessly photograph the inside of your mouth. The photographic image can be projected onto a color monitor and enlarged for you and Dr. Salah to view together. Because this magnification allows us to see your mouth more clearly, we here at AAS are able to provide better and more informed dental care.
Digital x-rays offer more precision since we view the image on a computer monitor, instead of holding up a 35mm film up to the light. Digital x-rays results in one-sixth the radiation exposure to you.
