As providers of the one-day dental implant procedures, we feel the same relief that patients do. Born and raised in Michigan, Dr. Alkass graduated from Oakland University with a bachelors degree in biology and completed a post-baccalaureate before entering dental school. Since earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, he has been recognized with multiple distinctive awards for clinical and research excellence.
He places a priority on simplifying the patient experience by completing their dental treatments conveniently at the same location and, whenever possible, the same day. Dr. Alkass is passionate about creating beautiful, functional, healthy smiles while at the same time educating his patients about oral health and disease prevention. He sees more than a mouth; he sees the individual as a whole and assesses how their oral health can affect the rest of the body.
Dr. Alkass is committed to advancing the use of the Straumann dental implant system, which enables patients who are missing teeth to leave his office that very same day with a restored smile, improved ability to chew and speak, and a renewed sense of confidence. In addition to offering one-day dental implant surgeries, Dr. Alkass strives to provide the most gentle and effective dental treatments possible for patients of all ages.

Alkass Dental is the most wonderful dental office I have been a patient at. The entire office staff is so friendly . My hygienist Cathy is great. She is caring and kind. Dr. Alkass is the only dentist I have looked forward to seeing since I was a child. He always is kind and explains everything. He cares greatly and makes you feel that you matter. I would definitely recommend this dental office!

If you want to enjoy going to the dentist again, this is the place. Cathy, my hygienist, is fun, friendly and easy to talk with. Then there's Dr. Alkass, he is so caring and very easy to talk with. If you need something done, he's not pushy about it. He may say, " you need this and this done but it's not an emergency at this time, we'll take care of it when you're ready". Office staff is also wonderful.

The staff members always greet you at the door, and Dr. Alkass always has a welcoming aura to him. The waiting room is comfortable, and the office itself is clean without papers littered everywhere unlike some other offices I've seen. I usually fear seeing the dentist but Dr. Alkass has since changed that for me. Best dental office ever!

Visiting Alkass Dental was a very pleasant experience. The office was very clean which is something I normally look out for. This was my first time visiting this new office and it was for a cleaning. The staff was professional as I hate attending the dentist. Great office.

I normally fear going to the dentist, as I always leave in pain or with some type of an issue. However, since I changed to Dr. Alkass. Every single time I've left his office, I legitimately left with a smile! Such a friendly atmosphere and staff, it really changed the way I look at having my dental work done. Whether, it's getting my wisdom teeth pulled, or just getting a basic cleaning. I'll always come see Dr. Alkass from now on. Thank you for the experience!
