We do Free Oral Cancer screenings for every new or existing Patients. We use a particle vacuum cleaner and filters when we perform safe amalgam removals. We use DryShield when suitable to minimize the debris that might be ingested and consider your overall health, not just your dental care
All the lights in the office are LEDs, including the surgical lamps, we use non-toxic cleaning and disinfecting solutions, soap, mouth rinse. We are responsibly recycling our bottles and cans, use only recycled paper throughout the office, compostable BPA-free coffee and water cups and 'green' bio-degradable trash bags!
We are a chartless, all digital office, all our records and data are stored and transferred in a HIPAA compliant, encrypted drives. Digital X-Rays, that means instant, low radiation, increased accuracy, even lower radiation for children! We use digital Intra-oral cameras for instant close-up pictures of the problem areas that you can see live on the screen! We use the 5D iTero scanner for digital dental impressions and near infra-red cavities detection, we are a 'no goop' practice. We use Biolase Waterlase Express Surgical Laser for quick, painless procedures and faster healing.
Ruxandra Preda, D.D.S. has been practicing general dentistry for more than 10 years in Orange County. She is passionate about dentistry and believes in treating Patients with empathy and compassion while offering the best dental care for her Patients. In 2006 she received her California Dental License through USC, but she is practicing dentistry since 1993. Dr. Preda has continued to participate in seminars and continuing education programs and recently she completed tens of hours of training in surgical LASER technology. Dr. Preda is also experienced and licensed in Oral Conscious Sedation and safe removal of amalgam (Silver-Mercury) fillings and she is SMART Certified by IAOMT. By attending continuing education courses she is able to deliver the highest standard of care by providing a complete range of dental services to her Patients, using the latest technologies available. When she is not in the office, Dr. Preda enjoys spending time outdoors, she loves traveling, biking, hiking, kayaking, practicing yoga, watching stand-up comedy or a good movie. She volunteers her time for helping pets who need to find a forever home.
Dr. Leif is a renowned Expert in Dental Implants, he 's also Licensed in I.V. Sedation. He is strong believer in cutting edge technologies and he embraced the 'All-on-four' Implant concept developed by Nobel-Biocare, the World Leader in Implant Technology. In our community, Each year he hosts an annual event called Dentistry From The Heart, an opportunity to provide free smiles to the local residents of Orange County. When he is not in the office he enjoys spending time with his four children and his wife.

I would not recommend this dentist office. The hygienist was good but the dentist was pushy and tried to convince me that my teeth were in horrible shape and I needed Invisalign. I had braces a little bit ago and went back to the orthodontist and he said their was nothing wrong with my teeth. I felt she was trying to just make money off me and didn't really care. Will not ever go back here again.

The hygienist was okay but I found the dentist really pushy and lacking any sort of congenial attitude. The dentist wanted me to book an incredibly expensive procedure before quoting me the cost. After I was informed the price (quite high compared to other dentists I've seen) she said "okay so when are you booking?" and then just walked away. Not really the kind of vibe I look for at a dentist's office so I will not be returning. I'd rather give my money to another business.

I have several silver fillings in molars that are causing my teeth to crack. I had crowns put on two of these teeth in the past and it is time to address two more. My previous dentist, who is no longer practicing, never mentioned anything about the problems or dangers involved with removing silver fillings and didn't take any precautions when removing them. On the other hand, Dr. Preda and her staff took several precautions to make sure that I didn't ingest or inhale any of the silver debris or fumes. I have had a cleaning and the crown work done and the doctor and her staff have been delightful and caring. Additionally, her fees are lower than my previous dentist so I was able to have both crowns installed at once. Because my other dentist's fees exceeded my insurance coverage, I had to do one crown at a time and then wait for a new policy year to do the second crown.

The staff is super friendly and professional. I always feel welcomed. The services I have received so far have been very smooth and painless. Prices are a bit high but worth the cost.

I have quite a bit of dental work to be done, and have visited their office twice now. The first was a check up and cleaning. I loved the hygienist I had (Rana), and the equipment is state of the art. The DDS explained what my issues are very clearly and thoroughly. I have now been back for a second appointment (deep cleaning, side #1), and was again very pleased with their services.

The experience as a new patient was awesome. They communicate so well leading up to appointment to include reminders and the ability to fill out all of the form online so there's virtually no wait when you arrive for your appointment. Bianca - the Dental Hygienist - was EXCELLENT as was the consultation with Dr. Preda. Highly recommend

I was quoted a 3 times higher cost for getting my wisdom teeth pulled then other offices! I asked them for an itemized statement of the costs multiple times and they only gave me a paragraph with the services and the total cost. I don't think they could have justified the costs if they itemized it so they didn't give me one. I would highly recommended getting a second quote before agreeing to their costs here.

First of all, I would not be concerned about the one star reviews from the Karens. The Dentist here is great. She took plenty of time to talk with me about my concerns and treatment. They were not pushy in upselling at all. I came from a different dentist where they said I needed a root canal and multiple cavities filled. After x-rays and and a thorough cleaning, the dentist here said I was fine. And I waited until after my visit to tell them. It feels like they have a minimal approach to dentistry, which I believe is best. I don't have insurance and their in-house cash plan is great. Highly recommend! Side note, the Covid safety process is beyond excessive. Maybe there's special regulations they need to follow? If you are concerned about the virus and suffer from fear, this is definitely the place to go lol.

My very 1st visit was during COVID and I came in with MAJOR pain. They got me in the same day and moved quickly to find out what was going on. Dr. Preda informed me that my wisdom teeth needed to be extracted and that she was going to refer me out. I had several other issues that were going to be dealt with at a later time but her first instict was to get me pain-free as fast as possible. Most oral surgeons were booked up for 3-4 weeks out and I was in tears with pain. My fiance called Jennifer and asked if there was anything they could do to help me get in quicker. Before I knew it... she must have called 4 different offices begging them to squeeze me in somewhere because I had an appt 2 days later to get my wisdom teeth extracted. Jennifer offers amazing customer service!!!! She is beyond pleasant and understanding. She is the MVP at the office if I was the one giving out rewards (or raises ) I have since been back for other dental work. The dental hygienist (Rhea? Sorry if I butchered the name) is incredible and left my teeth feeling better than they ever have!! She makes you feel at ease and very comfortable. She is both professional and personable. Dr. Preda is cutting edge and everything you imagine from an elite level of dentistry. She is articulate and knowledgeable. She seems to run a great team and morale seems high. How you treat your staff is just as important as how you treat your patients. It really adds to the whole experience when people seem happy to work there. Thank you Aliso Viejo Dental Team. If you're looking for a new dentist in the South OC area, don't hesitate!

Went for Invisalign consult, super friendly professional staff! Dr Preda was very thorough and made me feel confident in choosing Invisalign. Great location, easy parking, state of the art equipment, extremely clean and the doctor and staff are amazing! Love this office!
