We file dental insurance claims as a courtesy for our patients.Dental insurance is meant to be an aid in receiving dental care, not the reason for it. Please remember that there are many dental plans out there and each one is different! We are not responsible for how each insurance company handles its claims. We can only assist you in estimating your portion of the cost of treatment. We at no time guarantee what your insurance will pay on a particular claim. We also cannot be responsible for any errors in the filing of your insurance.
Payment plans for Orthodontic Services are arranged prior to start of treatment and can be spread out over the course of the Orthodontic treatment. All orthodontic-related balances must be paid in full by the completion of the treatment.
Dr. Frank Shahzadi joined the practice in 2001. He worked as an associate until June of 2004, when he became a partner. Dr. Shahzadi grew up in Southern California and has lived in South Orange County for over 20 years. He graduated from Trabuco Hills High School, and received a B.S. in Biology from U.C. Irvine. While in high school and college, Dr. Shahzadi worked as a Registered Dental Assistant. He received his DDS degree from UCLA in the year 2000. Dr. Shahzadi currently lives in San Clemente. His interests are traveling and mountain biking. Dr. Shahzadi is passionate about all types of fishing, both fresh and salt water. Dr. Shahzadi also has volunteered dental services for drug offenders who are in an intensive drug treatment program supervised by the Orange County Superior Court System. He has been recognized by the Superior Court of California for his volunteer services. For the last 5 years, Dr. Shahzadi has volunteered his time and skills in developing countries. Three trips were to Nepal, where Dental Care was provided to the poorest of the poor, and last year he volunteered his services to disabled children in Vietnam. The most recent trip was a return to Nepal, where he taught at the Kantipur Dental Hospital, and took care of the dental needs of orphans near Pokhara. He hopes to have his wife join him on the next mission to help those who cannot help themselves.
Dr. Lourdes F. Diaz is a Board Certified Doctor of Dental Surgery in the State of California. She is an active member of the California Dental Association (CDA), American Dental Association (ADA), the Orange County Dental Society (OCDS), and a Fellow of the California Implant Institute (CII). Dr. Diaz completed her Dental Degree in Dentistry back in 1989 at Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines. Centro Escolar is a private university and one of the most prestigious and highly respected Dental Institution in the Philippines. Dr. Diaz was a consistent Top A student maintaining her academic scholarships throughout her schooling. She was a practicing Dentist in the Philippines when she moved here in the United States. Dr. Diaz completed her California Dental certifications at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She has achieved outstanding top scores when she challenged the California Dental Board Examinations. She joined Aliso Niguel Dental Group in 2004 and became a partner in 2005. She has been practicing General Dentistry with more emphasis on Cosmetic, Orthodontics and Implant Dentistry.
Her parents have instilled in her the values of hard work, commitment, and dedication. Dr. Diaz believes in providing quality dentistry at the highest standards of care, honesty, integrity and professional excellence. She treats all her patients like family with precision dentistry and the most gentle hands. She continues to expand her knowledge and expertise by learning all the technological advances and latest dental trends, especially in the field of Dental Implantology. She aspires to become a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).
Dr. Diaz lives with her husband, James, in the beautiful community of Mission Viejo Lake. She has love for the Theater, Arts, Music and Ballroom Dancing. Aside from her hectic schedule, Dr. Diaz devotes her time performing volunteer work as well as supporting various church activities.

Dr Diaz is always very gentle with handling any dental procedure she has to do on me. She is patient, thorough and skillfully does the work very well. Her work reflects that she has a lot of experience with her profession and I will not hesitate to recommend her.

THINGS HAVE CHANGED!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! This dental office was once family-oriented and amazing, but things have gone downhill. The office manager that they have working here needs to work on her customer service because her attitude and the way she talks to patients is NOT okay.

Very accommodating staff. The concierge are very friendly. Dr Diaz and her assistant work gently. Dr Diaz had very light hand I didn't even feel any pain. She spoke very specific about the insurance coverage what is covered and not. She explained very thoroughly about the procedure and condition of your teeth and gums. I absolutely recommend her clinic to my friends and family. Thank you Dr Diaz and your staff for making my smile bright again.

I avoided going to the dentist for years until a cracked tooth turned into an a painful toothache. I went to Dr. Diaz and Dr. Shahzadi's office for an emergency appointment and I haven't stopped going to them since. The doctors and staff are gentle when doing cleanings, taking off orthodontic wires, and doing any sort of procedure and they are so friendly as well as helpful! Now my whole family and friends go to them too. I am always pleased with they're work and my appointments. I highly recommend them to everyone!!
