Riyad fosters a spirit of teamwork through educating the patient in at-home oral health care. He also loves children and works on young people from the age of 2 years old. A strong advocate of dental sealants to help prevent tooth decay, Riyad advises parents and children alike on proper diet and tooth brushing techniques.
A graduate of Howard University, Riyad served as his class president and graduated with honors. Currently, he serves as president of the Howard University College of Dentistry Dental Hygiene Advisory Board and stays informed of the latest advances in the dental profession. in his spare time, Riyad enjoys spending time with his two daughters and wife as well as rooting for our Washington Redskins.

Dr. Riaaz Alie earned his Bachelor's degree at the New York University before graduating from Howard University College of Dentistry. He was born in the D.C. metro area and takes great pride in serving his community. Dr. Alie strives to provide the highest quality dental care in a pain free and comfortable manner using the latest in dental technology. A solid doctor-patient relationship is vital in the maintenance of oral health, Dr. Alie will always make time to speak with his patients in order to understand their unique concerns. He is especially passionate about educating his patients on how to prevent dental diseases. He was a dental researcher at the New York University College of Dentistry studying the relationship between genetics and dental disease. Dr. Alie has presented his research at several dental meetings throughout the country including the Greater New York Dental Meeting, the largest dental meeting in America. In addition to dentistry, Dr. Alie enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and two cats. He is an avid sports fan and, of course, a lifelong fan of our Washington Redskins.

Gabby has been with our office since 2008. She attended the College of Southern Maryland where she earned a degree as a Certified Dental Assistant. Gabby is also a licensed Dental Radiology Technologist. She is always happy to answer any questions and make you feel at ease in the dental chair.
