Riyad fosters a spirit of teamwork through educating the patient in at-home oral health care. He also loves children and works on young people from the age of 2 years old. A strong advocate of dental sealants to help prevent tooth decay, Riyad advises parents and children alike on proper diet and tooth brushing techniques.
A graduate of Howard University, Riyad served as his class president and graduated with honors. Currently, he serves as president of the Howard University College of Dentistry Dental Hygiene Advisory Board and stays informed of the latest advances in the dental profession. in his spare time, Riyad enjoys spending time with his two daughters and wife as well as rooting for our Washington Redskins.

He has applied his unique blend of artistic and technical skill to produce durable and aesthetic results in thousands of patients. An experienced dentist with a grasp of the most innovative, minimally invasive new procedures, Dr. Alie is dedicated to lifelong learning through continuing education courses.
Dr. Riaaz Alie earned his Bachelor's degree at the New York University before graduating from Howard University College of Dentistry. He was born in the D.C. metro area and takes great pride in serving his community. Dr. Alie strives to provide the highest quality dental care in a pain free and comfortable manner using the latest in dental technology. A solid doctor-patient relationship is vital in the maintenance of oral health, Dr. Alie will always make time to speak with his patients in order to understand their unique concerns. He is especially passionate about educating his patients on how to prevent dental diseases. He was a dental researcher at the New York University College of Dentistry studying the relationship between genetics and dental disease. Dr. Alie has presented his research at several dental meetings throughout the country including the Greater New York Dental Meeting, the largest dental meeting in America. In addition to dentistry, Dr. Alie enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and two cats. He is an avid sports fan and, of course, a lifelong fan of our Washington Redskins.

Gabby has been with our office since 2008. She attended the College of Southern Maryland where she earned a degree as a Certified Dental Assistant. Gabby is also a licensed Dental Radiology Technologist. She is always happy to answer any questions and make you feel at ease in the dental chair.

The worst dental experience I have ever had. I did some dental work with them few months ago and I'm still suffering since then. They are unprofessional and they care about nothing but money. Please do yourself a favor and never go to them

You know, no one really likes going to the dentist, me especially. I've been dealing with this toothache for about a week, throbbing and very sensitive. I knew the tooth would have to be pulled, home remedies were not cutting it anymore. I called, and was able to be taken in as a walk in, while other people were being serviced. The receptionist was lovely. Dr Alie's lovely assistant was awesome as well. Before I finished my paperwork, I was being called to the back, they were ready for me! X-rays were taken and I was numbed up still all before I finished my paperwork. I was able to finish the paperwork while the numbing agents kicked in.15 minutes later, I was walking to my car with my script. PAIN FREE! I was more freaked out that I really didn't feel anything!! Still can't believe it. Dr. Alie made my experience a great one and I'm definitely coming back. That's a great team, clean, professional, quick, and pain free. What else could you ask for!

I have bad genetics when it comes to my teeth and doctor Ali sr. Is the best dentist I have ever been to. I've been to a few!!!! 100% trust him for any procedure. His work is A1 and his years of experience shows. Great staff as well.
