Dr. Pereda is a native of South Florida, having attended Florida International University. After completing his bachelors degree, Dr. Pereda moved to New Jersey, where he graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicines DMD program and furthered his education by completing their 2-year post-graduate residency in Endodontics. Currently, he is Board Eligible and is on track to receive Diplomate status from the American Board of Endodontics.
After practicing in private practice in New Jersey, Dr. Pereda and his wife decided to relocate back home to sunny South Florida. Dr. Pereda joined Cayon Dental Group to offer his expertise in microscopic endodontics, microsurgery, regenerative therapy, and three-dimensional digital radiography (CBCT) to provide modern root canal therapy to his patients. Dr. Pereda has been engaged in multiple research projects such as Incidence of Middle Mesial Canals, a morphology study published in the Journal of Endodontics, using CBCT technology and state of the art microscopes.
During his years in dental school, he participated in various dental missions providing dental services to underserved communities in the Dominican Republic and Haiti and the Navajo Native American tribe in collaboration with Indian Health Services. Dr. Pereda is a talented, compassionate, and sensitive provider, making his patients feel comfortable and at ease. He is also fluent in Spanish.
