Dr .Yang loves her job, she feels that if there is one thing that she made the right choice on it is that she chose dentistry as her career. When she was a child she didn't know how to properly brush her teeth. Her dad also gave her candy before going bed as a reward for her good behavior. She ended up having multiple tooth decay and even missing teeth when she was very young. After she became a dentist she experienced all the possible dental treatment available such as fillings, root canal therapy, implants, crowns and bridges. The most important lesson she learned from this is proper home care. She has been decay free for over 10 years now. With her personal experience she has devoted herself to helping others restore their oral health so that they do not suffer the same dental issues as herself.
A person of integrity, Dr. Yang is well liked by all her patients for her caring personality and outstanding professional skills. Her gentle and skillful way of providing treatment puts patients instantly at ease.
Dr. Yang always stays abreast of the latest technologies for cosmetic and implant dentistry by attending continuing education seminars around the country. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Yang has been practicing dentistry in Connecticut since her graduation in 2000 from Tufts Dental School. Dr. Yang was born in China and received her degree in Dental Medicine in 1986 from China Medical University. She received her Masters degree in oral pathology at Dalian Medical University in 1992. She has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years.
Dr. Yang is also involved in many volunteer programs in our community. She currently serves as President of the Meriden-Wallingford-Cheshire Dental Society. Her and her staff are proud to participate in several local and national dental charities including Give Back a Smile, a program restoring dental health to women who are victims of domestic violence and Give Kids a Smile, which provides free dentistry to children in need. Also, Mission of Mercy which is organized by the Connecticut State Dental Association, providing dental care to the under privileged.
Dr. Yang has a wonderful husband, two amazing children Jonathan and Erin, and a spectacular dog named Jason. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, swimming, hiking, and is said to be a great chef.
Dr. Wu is a Comprehensive and Esthetic Dentist highly skilled in cosmetic and surgical procedures including Crown and Bridges, Implants, Invisalign, Wisdom teeth extractions. Dr. Wu is a graduate of the Tufts University Dental School and holds Master degree of Oral surgery from China Medical University Dental School. He takes pride in thoroughly educating patients about their oral condition and the gentle, conservative treatment of dental pathology. He strives to create the perfect smile that functions in precise harmony with biological function. Dr. Wu is a member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association and the Middlesex County Dental Society.
Hi, my name is Ashley. I have been working for Dr. Yang since 2011. I am fortunate enough to be part of a professional, enthusiastic team in which the needs and comfort of our patients is the utmost priority. When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my family and friends in addition to traveling and going out to eat.
Kelly has been one of our dental assistants since April 2015. She graduated from Porter and Chester Institute where she served as her class ambassador and was invited to join the National Honors Society. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the movies, trying out new restaurants, and she loves spending plenty of time with her dog, Apollo.
She had worked for an insurance company for couple years before she started to work for private practice. She has a warm heart and never hesitates to give hand to people. She is very responsible and reliable person and likes to put things in order. On her spare time, she enjoys singing and choir member in new haven area.
My name is Bibi, I have been working as a dental hygienist for 15 years. I have been working for Dr. Yang and Dr. Wu for few years already. It has been a great experience. The practice is very busy which gives me a broad spectrum of patients to treat. My areas of expertise include dealing with adults, children and anxious patients. I'm am Local Anesthesia certified which gives me the opportunity to keep my patients comfortable during root surface debridement. My work includes period charting, plaque and bleeding scores. Identifying gum disease, cancer screening exams (intraoral exam). Prophylaxis which is a regular cleaning for a healthy mouth and lastly educating patients on how to prevent gum disease/losing their teeth. I enjoy and love being a dental hygienist. In my spare time, I enjoy family time with my husband and two children.

I am new to Connecticut and chipped a tooth. I was so impressed with this dental office. They handle everything professionally and efficiently in setting up appointments. Dr. Yang wasn't just interested in fixing the chipped tooth. She looked to understand the cause so we can keep it from happening again, and she showed me clearly what she saw so I would understand. I am so happy to have found this dentist! Update, over 3 years later. Still love this dental practice. I take better care of my teeth now because they help me understand WHY to do things. My teeth are healthier than ever, and I feel respected in the partnership for dental health. Wish I could find medical doctors of this same caliber.

Due to a change in insurance I was looking for a new dentist, then came the emergency and I needed someone right away. I called the office and they set me up as a new patient, scheduled a cleaning and took me in immediately for my emergency. I couldn't be happer with the attention and professionalism by everyone in the office. I am so glad I have found someone locally that I feel I can trust to take good care of my teeth.

My first time coming to this dentist was yesterday and I see why they are highly regarded. The staff and doctors are very friendly and professional throughout my whole visit on 7/8/22. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive from my house!

Dr. Wu and Kelly are theeee BEST!!!!! It's so nice to not have extreme anxiety before and during an appointment. But if you do, don't worry bc Kelly is always happy to hold your hand!

Dr Wu will give you terrible attitude if you don't take any of his suggestions to have him make more money. As a dentist, he didn't respect my decision for my tooth treatment. I would give him negative stars if there are any. So rude, very bad experience with him, I would never go back!!!

It's always a great experience when I go to the dentist. I used to have really bad lock jaw and with the help of getting a night guard and Dr Yang's exercises to do with my tongue, my lock jaw is nonexistent!! Great staff and a welcoming environment.
