A lifetime dentalphobe himself, Dr. Baratta has received specialized training in sedation techniques, including IV sedation in order to provide access to care to even the most nervous patients. He understands that many people who avoid the dentist do so because of anxiety issues and prides himself on being able to empathize and be a gateway to care for anxious patients.
Dr. Barattas training has given him the ability to work alongside patients and use advanced modalities to affect positive changes in their lives. His warm demeanor and infectious passion are apparent from the moment you meet him. That passion has driven him across the country and into countless classrooms in an effort to be the best provider he can be. His practice philosophy is that of a partnership with the patient, and his skills work in conjunction with a patients vision so that they may achieve the patients goals in function and aesthetics. He considers himself blessed to be able to work in partnership with his patients every day- he wouldnt trade dentistry for anything else and is grateful to have found his calling.
In his free time, Dr. Baratta can usually be found at a racetrack instructing aspiring racers on high-performance driving techniques, when he is not traveling the region competing in racing events himself. He is an avid supporter of all things Texas & the New Orleans Saints, and local youth rugby programs.

Aliana Family Dental is absolutely fantastic, first off. From the polite and caring office staff, to the hygienist, to Dr Baratta, they are all so warm and welcoming. Going to the dentist was something I feared, but now it's become a much safer space for me. They play music or tv shows while I have work done, there are warm blankets if I feel too cold, as well as drinks and snacks in the waiting room (probably better for afterwards though). Everyone at Aliana Family Dental puts forth effort and makes each visit as relaxing, easy, and comfortable as possible.

I wish I knew this place sooner. I had the most wonderful customer service experience here. The staffs are awesome and super informative. I would definitely recommend for all my friends and family to Aliana Family Dentist!

***Updated*** ************************************************************************** While my initial visit was great, the follow up was not. After initially choosing this office because they had good reviews and were in-network, they ultimately told me they were not....after I got the bill! When I called to schedule the first appointment, I told them that I chose them because my insurance had changed and my previous provider was now out-of-network and if they were. They called my insurance company to verify coverage and when they called me back, they told me everything came back fine and they looked forward to seeing me. I guess they would look forward to billing my insurance as out-of-network. For those that have not been through this experience, get a verbal and written confirmation before accepting the appointment!!! After many follow up calls speaking to the office/billing manager, there was no effort or communication to address my concerns. Much less why they did not disclose that they were out-of-network and had not been for 2 years. I was supposed to get a call from a regional manager, which never happened either. I even went so far as to file a report with my insurance company. Also to note, my insurance company has the full recording of the conversation where they were Aliana Dental was told that they work not in-network. I find the morally deceptive at best. Lesson learned...call and confirm on both ends when choosing a new provider!! I chose to drop my dental coverage and pay out of pocket with my old dentist and even saved money. I am going to end up with 4 cleanings per year for less than one visit here....just sayin. ************************************************************************** I am glad I chose Aliana Dental. All of the equipment was up to date and the space was very relaxing. It was nice to have an entire staff that takes time to listen to your needs. Violet was very thorough at explaining everything. After my basic cleaning, I will definitely book all my appointments with them.

I've been coming to Aliana Family Dental since moving to Houston and I absolutely love it!! The staff are always kind and friendly and Dr. Baratta is very knowledgeable!!

I loved Violeta, she was the best ! She made me extremely comfortable and I did not feel insecure about my teeth while she took images. When Dr.Baratta came in he got straight to the point. He assured me that would he could take care of me and made me feel at ease and not as tense. I left with a tooth hygiene packet, that was nicely put together with great products ! Will definitely be coming back here for years to come !

Great team and very informative with what they are doing and what they found. Made the 4 and 12 year old very comfortable along with fun while doing their exams. update 06.13.2022 5-year old had two cavities. She was not comfortable about getting them fixed the Dr. Baratta reviewed he didn't want her scared. He would make her comfortable and enjoy the procedure. Jennifer has always talked and laughed with her. On the day of the procedure Jennifer had her laughing about getting the sugar bugs our to her teeth and walked her back. The dental assistant helped her relax and feel safe. Dr. Baratta came in and she did not even know he had given her shots to numb the area of the cavity. After she was happy and not apprehensive for her next visit to fix the other cavity. As always great staff and great Dentist Baratta!

Everyone is so friendly here! My kiddo came with me and everyone was talking to him and making him feel comfortable too. The dentist is very knowledgeable and kind. He didn't rush and explained everything to me thoroughly. We will be back with friends!
