Dr. Ali Haeri graduated from University of Kentucky with a master degree in Chemical Engineering in 1986. He was inspired by his father (who was a practicing dentist) to pursue dentistry as a profession. Dr. Haeri graduated from University of Kentucky School of Dentistry in 1990. After practicing as a general dentist for 2 years in the state of Kentucky, he completed his residency training in periodontics from Medical University of South Carolina in 1994.

He gainedextensive trainingin all phases of periodontal therapy, dental implantology and sedation techniques. He then continued his career as an assistant professor at University of Mississippi Medical center department of periodontics where he devoted his time to teaching and research.

Dr. Haeri is a proud father of two beautiful and talented children; son and daughter.Dr. Haeri utilizes San Diegos perfect weather every chance he can with his family because he loves nature and the sun. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors locally by biking Pacific Beach and La Jolla, hiking Cowles Mountain, and camping at near sites around the county. His aquatic adventures take him to Hawaii or our nearest shorelines where he snorkels and kayaks with his family and friends. Also, Dr. Haeri enjoys traveling toexotic and new places around the world.
