This place should get a big fat ZERO they don't even deserve this 1 star that I'm giving . The receptionist that answered the phone is extremely rude!!!!! I just called back to confirm address after just speaking to a receptionist Who provided me with the appointment time for 4 o'clock she refused to help me and instead was very very very rude over the phone. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I'll be switching dentist. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!!!!

Good afternoon! So first off I'll like praise all the staff at Alhambra family dental, especially Mario. So I was referred to Alhambra family dental by my primary doctor for some teeth extractions. After a few months of inconvenience ( on my behest), the procedure went smooth and painless. Probably one of the best dental procedures which didn't make the doctor stop due to the pain. I can tell you this much I have found my new family dentist. Thanks again Alhambra family dental!

My experience the day of service started out with high hopes but it quickly changed. The dental assistant, receptionist, AND dentist failed me as a patient. I denied a service they recommend and there customer service quickly switched. I asked for a basic cleaning, I didn't want to pay $400 for a deep cleaning because the expense was not unexpected. The dentist recommended since I haven't been to a dentist since 2015. He told me my teeth was great per our conversation going over my Exam, no cavities etc. He and his staff kept pushing I get the $400 deep cleaning. For one, he lost business because I could have came back once I have my funds in order for a deep cleaning. Secondly, after telling them all I cannot get that particular service at this time they keep trying to explain to me why I need to get it for that days visit. I proceed to ask if I can just have a normal cleaning. The dentist assistant proceeds to tell me why having my teeth cleaned without getting a deep clean first is not recommended. Ok sir, I still want a normal cleaning. I'm a bit frustrated at this point because they were all insensitive of the fact that I couldn't get the added service at this time. The dental assistant (Mario) is not handling me with care at all as he proceeds to give me a "normal" cleaning. The actual dentist walked away and never came back. (Honestly I should have walked out the door when they kept pushing the extra service they wanted to give me. I could have went through with the extra service, but I wanted to do more research before I cough up $400 for a "deep" cleaning. Having insurance and having to pay that high amount for a deep cleaning didn't make sense to me.) He didn't scrap my teeth, floss or anything while giving the cleaning. He went directly to the drill bit to apply the toothpaste. Went over my teeth in a rush and rinsed my teeth, told me to spit over the sink, and was done(he proceeded to clean up). I asked was he done and he was like, "Yeah that's all.". I asked if he had floss because the stuff he put on my teeth is still in between my teeth, it was uncomfortable. As he's cleaning up touching everything with his bare hands he picks up string floss and rips a piece off and hands it too me. I'm not putting that in my mouth. How unsanitary! I pay for the visit. Ask the receptionist if I can get a copy of my X-rays. She tells me, "No, I can't do that. You need to pay." I say "Didn't my insurance pay for the images, I have a bill from that." She says the same thing again. I'm asking her to explain because I didn't understand what she means. She begins to yell at me and say the same thing and then adds on, "I can send them to your new dentist or for the images you need to pay." I just say okay and walk out to my car. I cried when I got to my car. I felt humiliated and unheard. They will not have my business again. It was a lot in so little time. Worst dental experience ever!!!

First the good news: I have never been to a more thorough dentist. Dr. Turi went through each tooth, and shared helpful knowledge and suggestions. Her assistant took pictures from all angles, and they had advanced imaging technology. Friendly, knowledgable, efficient. After my first visit, I gave them a five-star review. However, in my follow-up visit, another person there told me I needed a filling, which was not covered by my insurance. So I gave the money, but then the dentist said that the person was wrong, I did not need the filling. But I was told they could not return the money to me. They wanted me to do an expensive deep cleaning I couldn't really afford and they said they would apply it to that and that I could make payments for the expensive cleaning ($700 or so vs the $1500 they said I really should have). After the follow-up for that cleaning they said I needed to spend more since it didn't take. I asked about the regular non-deep cleaning and they said it didn't come with my insurance (which it does--I verified that with my provider). So the dentist is thorough and knowledgable and her main assistant is a very nice fellow, but the woman who gouged me, denied my full insurance, used scare language to try to get me to do expensive procedures, and was insensitive to my finances, made me never want to go back. I am surprised the dentist tolerates her, and it gave me the idea that they must like the money she brings them.

I don't usually post about my bad experiences because it's so easy to do so and often times it's off of a singular encounter however this one needs to be shared. As a first time patient (unfortunately my insurance changed) and after filling out pages of paperwork and sitting through many x-rays I was told of procedures that were needed that quite frankly I knew were false. All I wanted was a cleaning. I have been regularly getting my teeth cleaned and checked every 6 months for the past 10 years +. Needless to say I left. I also notified the insurance company. Make you own assessment.

These people ARE SCAM ARTISTS! I went in for a cleaning and all they did was polish my teeth and xrayed my teeth with their fancy technology. They told me i need 1k worth of work with a lot of cavities! I have always had good teeth so this didnt make sense. The older woman was very pushy and insistant i sign up for their dentist credit to pay. I said i had to think about it.Long story short i went elsewhere and they had no clue what the lady was talking about they said i had zero cavities and my teeth were extremely healthy. These people are out for your money!

Just visited this clinic after being transferred from my insurance company and all I can say is, this place is a hidden gem. I felt so comfortable with everyone at the clinic and I usually DREAD these type of appointments. I was a patient at Western Dental, if you want to see rip off, go there or any of the other franchises out there..LoL. I am thankful I found this place and plan to stick around.

I am grateful for the attention and services provided by the Dentist and the office manager they are caring and professional. Front office was very very helpful in keeping up with what was offered and did help me and still cares about my situation, very caring! Just like having surgery and your coordinator takes care of you every step of the way! Great communication skills!!!!!!
