The Alexandria Smile Centers team of professionals maintains the highest levels of accreditation and strives for continuous improvement. Were committed to providing the best in modern dental care while pursuing continued education to stay abreast of the latest trends in the field.
Melanie began her dental career in 2013 and received her Expanded Dental Duties Assistant certification in 2014 through the LSU Continuing Education Program. Shes been certified through the American Heart Association in child and adult CPR and first aid. Melanie believes in putting her patients comfort above all else and strives to provide excellent care to everyone she treats.
Throughout her dental career, Melanie has continued to complete classes that expand her ability to better serve the needs of her patients. This has included courses on adult and child moderate sedation, digital and conventional radiology, dental implants, front office management, and team building. Shes knowledgeable and has assisted in procedures including implants, surgical extractions, full mouth crown restorations, root canal therapy, and many more.
Melanie is an Alexandria native whos recently moved to Deville with her husband and children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and is an active member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church.
Brittany is an amazing Extended Duty Dental Assistant and Treatment Coordinator whose eye for detail and precision makes her one of the best in her field. She completed the Dental Assistant program from Unitech Training Academy in 2018 and received her EDDA in 2020. She is certified in CPR through the American Heart Association and has her x-ray certification through Unitech Training Academy.
Brittany is constantly furthering her education inside and outside of the field of dentistry to better serve her patients. She currently attends LSUE where she is studying to become a nurse. She has two exceptional kids and enjoys traveling with her family.
Morgan is a superstar Dental Assistant and Treatment Coordinator who loves getting to know her patients and making sure everyone knows how special they are to our practice. She was born and raised in Cenla and currently lives in Pineville with her two amazing children. From a young age, she developed a love for dentistry and enjoys being part of a top tier team and making a difference for others.
Morgan is constantly furthering her knowledge in the different aspects of dentistry to give patients the best care possible. Your safety always comes first, so like all of our staff Morgan is CPR certified through the American Heart Association.
Outside of work, you can find her at Ward 9 watching her kids play ball. She loves sunny days at the lake and fishing. Most importantly she enjoys spending time with friends and family, and making memories with her children.

The staff members at Alexandria Smiles are very welcoming and friendly. My hygienist took her time explaining all procedures during the cleaning of my teeth. Dr John Moylan is outstanding. He takes his time with all his patients and is very informative. Alexandria Smiles is the place to go for a fantastic smile.

Dr. Moylan didn't know mefrom Adam yesterday after 5pm. My husband call all over Alexandria for after hours emergency service. While in conversation with my husband, he could hear that I was in excruciating pain. He called me in meds and he worked me in today for a emergency root canal. He and his staff are wonderful, caring people! I highly recommend his dental services.

I arrived early. Was ushered in. The whole procedure was over and I was out by 102pm. My appointment was at 1pm. Stag is friendly. Helpful. Dr Moylan is very knowledgeable and professional.

I was experiencing intense pain in the back of my jaw. I made an appointment for Friday. Dr. Moylan examined and informed me that I needed to have my lower right wisdom tooth extracted, but he wouldn't be able to perform the procedure that afternoon. However, he still wrote a prescription to relieve my pain until the Monday morning appointment we arranged. I thought that was very considerate of him. When I arrived on Monday, someone had not shown up for their appointment so Dr. Moylan saw me early. I was kept abreast of any discomfort I may experience as he and his tech performed the extraction. The procedure went off without a hitch and he let me put my headphones on and chill out to music. I received all the convalescent information I needed post op and payment was simple and easy. One of the most pleasant dentist experiences I've ever had. I sent my Momma to go get her crown fixed by Dr. Moylan. And he fixed her crown! I already booked an August appointment to remove my other wisdom teeth. I love this place.

The staff is AMAZING!! The environment is so clean and peaceful. They give you so many options on what you want to do for your teeth. I felt little to no pain only little tingles and the doctors always make sure you are comfortable. 10/10 will recommend this dentist to anyone who needs their teeth done. Shout out to Brittany, Ariana, Melody, and Dr.Moylan for making my first experience great will definitely see them again.

From the phone call Erin help me get into a fill-in spot that someone had canceled. Kennedy helped me with the paperwork and exrayed me quickly because I was in pain. Then the surgery went smooth and quickly and I really didn't even feel anything. I know I've found our family a dental experience that my kids can actually look forward too instead of fear.

This is a place of love and grace. The staff have excellent customer service and care. The dentist is professional, caring and has the best chair ministry. He is gentle and always keeps you informed. As an adult who is scared of the dentist, and as a mother, I have been putting myself last. I needed a root canal in an semi-urgent manner. From the first visit being scheduled in a timely manner, the ease of check-in, and throughout the entire procedure all of the staff were top notch! There is an upscale environment, they have advanced technology, were very organized, and everyone was very kind and compassionate. Dr. Moylan was very good to explain the entire procedure, alerted me if there could be any chance of pain, asked multiple times if I was ok, and even gave me a call at 6 p.m. to check on my status! I have been to multiple dentists in Cenla, but Alexandria Smile Center will have my business from now on.

There is no better dentist office. Not only is Dr. Moylan and his staff wonderfully gentle, they are also VERY concerned about your comfort. The office makes you feel as though you're about to undergo a spa treatment...so much so that there is a complimentary menu for the patients in the exam room! It's an all around wonderful place...AND this is coming from someone who is terrified of the dentist! Dr. Moylan and his hygienist talk you through the entire process, and then make an action plan that will work best for you. I left with not just a sparkling smile, but a better understanding of what's going on in my mouth, and ways I can keep my teeth and gums healthy!!

Dr. Moylan and his staff were amazing! I had been experiencing a toothache for a few days and I ended up having a cavity that needed filling. I was nervous going into the appointment but they made the process so smooth and easy. I felt so comfortable the entire time and did not experience any pain! I would recommend Dr. Moylan to anyone.
