Dr. Jim Lee, D.D.S., M.P.H., M.S. Board Certified Orthodontist Dr. Lee was born and raised in the Carolinas before moving to Charlottesville, VA for high school. As a freshman in college at George Washington University in DC, he began teaching in DC public schools, grades K-12, and started 5 educational programs for children and young adults.Continuing his teaching career the year after college, he moved to Boston to pursue a Masters in Public Health with a concentration in adolescent health and social/behavioral sciences. Shortly after receiving his Masters, he began his dental education at the University of Maryland dental school, graduating with top honors, including initiation into dentistrys most prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. He then received his orthodontic specialty training at the Ohio State University where he attained a Masters in Science and a certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, watching football, building computers, and working out.

Great experience with Alexandra Orthodontics. After a seemingly quick 18 months I just had my braces removed. I am super happy with the results. My teeth now looked photoshopped. lol The staff has always been accommodating, knowledgeable and transparent. Great experience, great energy, great people, great results.

I can say with confidence that I made the right decision to do my braces at Alexandria Orthodontics. The first thing I noted was the technology advancement they have. Thus, I know they used the most advanced techniques to align my teeth to my satisfaction. Dr. Lee and staff are truly professionals who care for their patients. In fact, they cared for me all along the whole treatment. They made me feel welcomed in every appointment. It's a very positive and quiet environment to be around. I couldn't have a better experience. I'm very happy with the end result and my new teeth. The people at AO are so professional and kind. They heard my concerns and proposed a plan based on my preferences (instead of trying to force me into something I didn't want to do). As unpleasant as it is to have dental work done, they do everything they can to ensure otherwise. I honestly don't think I could have chosen better than AO and Dr. Lee. If you're thinking about booking a consultation, do it - you won't be disappointed!

Stay away from them. They claim that the consultation is free of charge - a lie and a marketing scheme to attract new patients. They go ahead and contact your insurance provider behind your back and ask for 100$ for consultation and another 100$ for a panoramic X-ray. You will never know about these claims if you will not double-check with your insurance. Thank god I did follow up on my "free" consultation, and that's how I found out what they were up to. This is utterly dishonest and unprofessional.

Every time Dasia comes for her appointment it is always a pleasant experience. As always everyone at Alexandria Orthodontics are very friendly and always make you feel comfortable. As usually Dasia had a great orthodontic visit. Rosy is always welcoming and helpful. The technician was very nice. Dr. Lee always explain how the treatment is going and what's next. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone needing orthodontic treatment.
