Our extended efforts are put in to educate our patients on the importance of great dental hygiene as to prevent tooth decay, cavities, and other problems that may arise. The dentists at our office are considerate of the patients needs in order to exceed expectations.

The American Dental Care office staff is a team of dental professionals who are dedicated to making your visits to our practice as positive as possible.
Dr. Lyazidi started her private practice of general and cosmetic dentistry in 2001 and is still currently practicing family and cosmetic dentistry full-time at two locations in Northern Virginia. Her great deal of knowledge in family and cosmetic dentistry, as well as the many years practicing dentistry, are what make her proficient in her field.
Born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco. After obtaining a baccalaureate in science, Dr. Lyazidi moved to southern California where she completed her undergraduate education at the Cal State of Fullerton. She then across the country to Virginia where she currently lives to pursue her dental degree at the University of Howard.
Dr. Salameh's mission is to provide comprehensive dental services to all patients in an environment that is safe, reassuringly pleasant, and comfortable. He is a provider who finds a solution to any problem that may come his way.
Dr. Salameh graduated in 2007, obtaining his DDS degree from the faculty of dentistry at the University of Colorado. He is continuously seeking out training and professional development opportunities that allow him to remain aware and knowledgeable about new dental practices and the latest technology being considered or used. After graduation, he moved to Northern Virginia where he began working in practices in the area. Aside from his focus on general dentistry, he also performs orthodontic procedures. Dr. Salameh completed his fellowship in Orthodontics from the Academy of GP Orthodontics.
He takes pride in his work and is very diligent when performing procedures. Dr. Salameh makes sure that the patient is satisfied before they walk out the door. He is skilled in a number of procedures from restorative to surgical and implant placement.

Showed up for my appointment today as a new patient, and no on was there...the office door was closed and locked, and looking inside, it was completely empty. There were 3 or 4 other first-time patients all waiting in the hall for appointments. The office hadn't called, emailed, or even put up a sign explaining why the office was closed. I called twp different office phone numbers, and both went straight to voicemail. Great.

Highly recommend coming to this Dentist, I recently got my cleaning done & I could not be happier with my results The doctor did a great job in making sure I left home with a beautiful smile, the staff have been amazing & welcoming as well. Today I had an appointment with Alexandria Dentistry it was amazing from the minute I walked in the door to my interactions with Dr. Tareq.... Dr. Tareq took his time to explain my needs and my concerns, they made sure I fully understood the process. The staff was friendly and professional, the office was comfortable and inviting. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

This office has to be the BEST dentist I've ever been to, the staff is incredibly nice and the doctor is so polite and caring, front desk ladies always have a smile on their face and they are so sweet! I've only been going here a few times but I'm definitely keeping them! I've had problems in the past with my old dentist/his staff that shamed me for my oral health and as a person who was neglected as a child (never taken to the dentist) now that I'm an adult it was super important for me to find a place that wouldn't make me feel even worse about previously having gum desease, needing cavities filled etc. When I come in for my appointment im greeted by every staff member that sees me and even the doctor when he walks by in the middle of his busy schedule before my turn he takes the time to talk to me and welcome me back. If you're looking for a new dentist I would look no further, they are top of the line !

Everyone was very friendly and Sobia was very helpful and worked with me even though I missed some appointment dates due to emergencies. Teeth cleaning was also done professionally and with minimal discomfort on my end. Would recommend.

I would not recommend for patients with Blue Cross/Blue Shield FEP and Aetna Dental coverage. Cleaning and evaluation total was $600 which included $120 panoramic film (x-ray) that was performed after initial x-rays were performed 2 weeks prior.

Historically, I've never been a huge fan of going to the dentist. But after being referred to Alexandria dentistry , I have to say my feelings have changed. Dr Tarek and his staff are professional, friendly and made the overall experience enjoyable! Will definitely be back in 6 months!
