Dr. Monica Moon grew up in the Northern Virginia area, having graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST) and then from the University of Virginia (UVA). At UVA, Dr. Moon graduated with honors and majored in both Chemistry with a Biology specialization and also Psychology. Dr. Moon then graduated with multiple honors from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
Dr. Moon has an easy going approach to patients and friends alike, paired with a great sense of humor. While her demeanor is very pleasant, her passion and dedication to top notch dentistry is constant.
Dr. Alicia Yim was born in Alexandria Hospital and grew up in Northern Virginia. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University where she earned her degree in Fashion Merchandising and continued her post-baccalaureate studies at George Mason University. Later she attended the Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has practiced dentistry in Pennsylvania, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia.
Dr. Yim enjoys advancing her experience and knowledge of dentistry through continuing education courses, volunteer events, and mission trips. She especially enjoys challenging cosmetic smile transformations as well as full-mouth rehabilitation and reconstruction.
Dr. Yim places a strong emphasis on the essential role that dental and oral health plays in the overall health of the patient and spends her time educating her patients on the importance of preventive dentistry.
Dr. Yim currently resides in Arlington and outside of work she can be found with her rescue dog, Rita, exploring hiking trails and frequenting local dog parks. She has a deep appreciation for all things artistic and feels blessed to live in such a culturally rich area.

I had my first appointment with them this week. Noel and Dr. Walker were great. They explained what they were doing, why they were doing it as they were doing it, what they found, and gave me suggested solutions. They explained everything very well. They explained what they saw in the pictures in a way I could follow and actually see what they were seeing as they explained it.

Dr. Moon and her staff to include Evelyn are absolutely incredible. They have taken me on this journey to a healthier lifestyle regarding Dental. My mouth feels good, and they do a great job with cosmetic repairs. I enjoy smiling now, thank you!

This has consistently been the best medical/dental experiences I've had. The staff is friendly, patient, reassuring, highly skilled, professional and efficient.The office is clean and modern and parking is so easy. I highly recommend this practice.

I really enjoyed going to the dentist at this location. It is very modern and clean and comes with free parking in a garage. Dr. Moon was great and everyone who works there is too. This practice was recommended to me by a friend and I recommend it to everyone else. I look forward to going back! Tell them I referred you and we each get a $50 credit!

I've been going to Dr. Suska for a few years and am very happy with her care. The office is modern and clean and the equipment they use seems like the latest technology. Everyone who works there is very professional, friendly, and explains everything that they are doing. Dr. Suska has a great bedside manner, she definitely puts you at ease. I've been to Dr. Moon and liked her a lot, too. I definitely recommend this office.

I have been receiving dental treatment at Alexandria Dental Group for only six months at this point, but without doubt, it is the most professional and equipped dental practice of which I have been a patient. Further, Dr Suska is hands down the best dentist I have ever had: professional, great communication skills and patient relations, and I most appreciate that she sees problems about to occur, and proposes to act to address them before they become an emergency. I have been extremely happy with the treatment here--

I am back to update and reiterate my previous 5-star review from one year ago. Every experience, whether for a crown, a filling or an exam has been excellent. A key attribute of Dr. Suska's work is that she is meticulous. On these visits, she takes care to ensure that the bite is perfect and flossing is easy. She clearly and confidently describes treatment plans and follows up with photos and a discussion. The entire staff continues to be excellent and In addition to the low-exposure x-ray system, there is a cool camera system that uses a wand to capture an image of a tooth so the problem and the repair can we seen on the wide-screen TV in the room and discussed with the dentist. Free parking is available in designated spaces in the adjoining garage. I continue to highly recommend this practice. And the following is from one year ago. I highly recommend this practice not only for the knowledge and competence of the dentists, dental hygienists and assistants, but also for their best-in-class COVID-19 precautionary procedures. My first experience was shortly after moving here. I cracked a tooth. Dr. Suska got me in immediately and after an assessment referred me to an endodontist and oral surgeon for the necessary next steps (extraction and implant). Both of her referrals were exceptional, which I valued. My most recent appointments were for the crown fitting and a routine cleaning. The hygienist was excellent both in her cleaning technique and her ability to answer questions about oral care confidently and knowledgeably. The practices uses an advanced form of X-Ray technology that results in extremely low exposure levels (the technician doesn't have to leave the room. I highly recommend Dr. Suska and her excellent team.
