I was having a problem with one of my teeth, called Dr. Alexander's office - they got me right in. The staff is great, Dr. Alexander is clearly at the top of his game. Unreservedly recommended

Best dental experience I have ever had! Entire staff was friendly and helpful! Dr. Alexander was thorough, and he is clearly world class! He put together a comprehensive treatment plan, which included referrals to several other specialist providers. He is a tremendous resource for the Santa Barbara community!

Literally never write reviews but this was the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. Scheduled an appointment with Dr. Alexander after a glowing referral and wonderful online reviews. He is extremely busy (the front desk people will continuously remind you of that fact to the point that you should almost feel lucky to get time with this guy). While I was a bit turned off, there aren't a lot of options in SB so FINE. After arriving to my appointment, I was told there was a scheduling issue and while I was on the calendar they hadn't officially held the time (what?). I was told to wait and sat in the front for over an hour before I was seen. Cool. Finally, when I was seen by the doctor, he didn't acknowledge the wait and instead let's me know that he has limited time due to the scheduling issue and we'll have to book some more time later on. He was so focused on the scheduling issue that I pulled out my phone to show him my emails just to get him to move on. He was clearly annoyed with his staff and his fixation on the topic was a weird reaction to have in front of me. He has zero bedside manner and really made me feel uncomfortable while taking a look at my teeth. I had some questions and it felt like he couldn't be bothered to answer. Truly treated me as though I should be honored to be getting any of his time. I had some X-rays done and models taken but after leaving and processing what had happened, I decided to call and cancel my next appointment. It's unfortunate there aren't more options in SB. With this type of treatment for extremely expensive procedures, I'd rather just make the drive to LA where there are plenty of better options and doctors who actually care about their patients. Truly recommend you go somewhere else. LOOK FURTHER: I wish I had gone deeper in my review search, there are many sites with scathing reviews about this practice I wish I had caught earlier.

I can't recommend Dr. Marc Alexander and his office enough. Everything you could hope for. Unparalleled expertise, friendly staff, beautifully appointed office with the most modern equipment and the best hygienists. Dr. Alexander is a master of his profession. Extremely knowledgeable, thorough, sympathetic and amiable. And no dentist I've ever been to administers an injection the way Dr. Alexander does. (No pain whatsoever.) He's done all my crowns over the last 15 years or so. Never had one fail. I'll be a patient for life.

Dr Alexander and his staff are amazing and kind! I cannot express enough of his expertise and detail during and after many appointments. I had extensive work done by Dr Alexander after finding bone infections from two previous implants done by another dentist many years ago. I now reside on the east coast and just recently visited Dr Alexander for a healthy check up . I was welcomed with warmth and kindness by his staff . Dr Alexander is an artist in his field! I highly recommend this office to anyone for healthy dental care or extensive work!

I have been a patient of Dr. Alexander's for over 25 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. So much so, that I drive to him from Los Angeles. Over the years, I have had multiple procedures and he has always done an outstanding job. I have had to commute countless times during these appointments and it was never an issue to drive the 90 minutes each way, it's a beautiful scenic drive on PCH. He has a wonderful bedside manner, he is a perfectionist and really goes above and beyond. His staff are very pleasant and will always do their best to have you seen as soon as possible or to accommodate special appointments. His offices are absolutely stunning, conveniently situated just off the freeway, so easy to get to and easy to park. I can't recommend Dr. Alexander enough, you will not be disappointed!
