Alexander H. Balian, DDS Dr. Balian is a Virginia native having lived his entire life within the Commonwealth. He attended The College of William and Mary as well as Old Dominion University. There he received his B.S. in Physics. After working for the Department of Defense from 1980 to 1984, he returned to school and earned his DDS from Howard University in Washington DC. Dr. Balian has been practicing dentistry since 1988. His practice philosophy has been to provide the very best dental care for his patients in the most gentle way possible. In his spare time, Dr. Balian can be found on a local baseball, softball or football field working with todays' youth in the role as a scholastic sports official. Dr. Balian also enjoys acting and performing. She graduated from Chancellor High School and began working for Dr. Balian in 1999 after completing the dental assisting program at the Spotsylvania Career and Technical Center.
